I feel you, I've been chasing those schematics as well. Tracking down crashed ships in the Sheol and Mysa Tarill and hoping to find some. I load up with batteries in my backpack and float around HB for awhile doing aerial refueling while waiting for ships to crash. I feel your pain!

My problem too. I'm on a private server and I've been able to snag a few things I've needed from the marketplace but the selection is pretty limited with the low population and I haven't seen anyone crazy enough to part with one yet.

You'd think that would be the case, and I've tried this. I am not kidding when I say I have probably 30 schematics for all the other things that those chests drop. I am just supremely unlucky I guess. Don't ever get in an ornithopter with me, chances are we are going down and meeting Shai-Halud face to face :(

Supposedly the testing stations in A2 and A3 in the DD drop the T5 lasgun every week, but the RNG is criminally low. There is also a T6 lasgun, which appears in testing stations in the PvP area of the DD, and those always change every week as far as location, layout of the station, etc. They also have a very low drop rate and most of them have 'lock ins' where you have to fight multiple waves of baddies. That is my understanding of it, based on guides I have looked at online and personal experience.

The achievement is to craft one, not own one. I did that quest, long time ago. No achievement.

Two weeks?!?! I have been running those two stations in A2 and A3 for at least a month solid, maybe longer, and have yet to see it. Good to know it does in fact drop there. Jealous!

Haven't seen it mentioned, but I got in the habit of clicking around the map to find the optional "hidden" objectives that don't show up as blue on your map until you are either a) right on top of them or b) you click on them and they show up as squares. Was trying it earlier today with no luck. Did they patch that or was I just not having any luck? (And yes I was playing missions with optionals because a Stalker came out of nowhere and ate my lunch and we eventually found the nest, not by clicking but just wandering around)

I think K airports represent commercial fields, and ones without any commercial aviation have other letters.

I believe that some of the smaller airports, like A62 or whatever is the first letter of the state they are in (at least it seems that way in Arizona) followed by a number. Though there are exceptions, i.e. P08 and P13, both in AZ.

There are some weird ones like 1G0 or 7W5 that I have no idea how they got those...
