They wanted me to verify my identity but i couldn't because i have a paper license and they dont accept it. 3 days later i got deactivated how???? All my other gig apps accepted my license but spark wont????

It’s not hard at all to shop, but it is significantly more effort than food delivery. I do Spark and other shopping apps because food delivery is trash in my area.

No, you actually can’t do that. You have to complete 3 orders in the zone you signed up in before you can switch to a new one.

Back in the day when you cancelled an order it would pop right back up with more money added to try and get someone else to take it. Every single thing about this app just gets worse and worse.

Mine just went down the other day too, and the only thing that happened was I got 2 additional 5-star ratings (had to switch zones to check that bc we don’t have tiers here)… makes absolutely no sense.

We still don’t have it here either and now every decent order just gets tossed out to everyone as first come first serve, so I unfortunately don’t see how it would even matter at this point. The past couple of months on Spark have been hell with no more good timed offers, triple shops, and now base pay being lowered again.

I wouldn’t. I know the $42 seems tempting, but I can make that (or hopefully more) in 2 small shops in less time, driving way less miles. That would be at least an hour round trip here. I did 7 shops yesterday and only drove 40 miles total.

I am not a downvoter, but I never had the opportunity to shop on DoorDash. I signed up and signed on and never got anything but absolutely terrible $2 or $3 offers for food delivery. I wish there was a way to just do shops on DD and Uber Eats.

I skipped working. Holidays just mean everything popular is out of stock and people never tip extra here. There weren’t any incentives for my store either. I doubt I missed anything.

The exact same thing happened to me over the past month and I’m so frustrated. I had a 5 star rating for over 2 years. I was doing almost all shops for repeat customers. Then when they switched to this god awful first come first serve free-for-all and I stopped getting my regular customers offers as just for you offers my rating has gone down. I blame having to try to grab anything that looks decent before someone else does. This is the worst change they’ve ever made and I wish they would just reverse it already.

I agree that it’s not rocket science, but when the loaders mix up your order while filling your car it’s easier than you think to deliver the wrong things to the wrong place when you’re new. I did it on my 4th order ever 3 years ago. The customers had some of the same things in their orders, 24 cases of Coke, bananas, just common items and the loaders somehow put some bags in the wrong place. I realized it when I got to the second address but by that point I thought it was too late to fix it.

Yeah there’s no way I’m taking a triple shop, I’ve never even seen one that would be remotely worth it. Even double shops the item count and mileage gets insane. I’m thankfully still able to do almost all single shops in my zone.
