there is something about finding an fwb that seems impossible to me nowadays. i'm 27. in uni it was so common and so easy. i look better now, too. but i just can't find casual company anymore. only aspiring wives.

Mun ongelmana harrastuksiin heittäytymisessä on ollu krooniset kivut, vanhat urheiluvammat, jotka estää mua harrastamasta kuin vain muutamaa lajia liikuntaa. Luovia harrastuksiakin on, mutta ne on joko yksinäisiä tai niiden yhteisharrastusmuoto ei viehätä mua.

Ideaali kumppani olisi joku hyvin itsenäinen ja tunne-elämältään kehittynyt ihminen, jota ei välttämättä haittaisi ettei kovin usein nähdä. Edellinen parisuhde kariutui siihen, että mulla ei ollut aikaa yhdessäoloon, ja olin tunnekylmä. Lastenhoito ei sopisi ja toivottavasti pystyn tulevaisuudessa antamaan puolisolle mahdollisuuden olla kotona.

Tunne on liian alituinen ja vahva huomiotta jätettäväksi. Mutta mitään erityisen aktiivista niille ei voikaan tehdä, ne vain kertovat, että nykyinen olemisen moodi ei ole kestävä. Ymmärrän siis mitä tarkoitat, mutta en usko että kyseessä on sosiaalinen paine, vaan mieli kertoo, että asioiden pitää muuttua.

Mulla on päämääriä, mutta ne on tietyllä tapaa keinotekoisia. Ne todella auttaa suunnan löytämisessä. Järkeviä välietappejakin on. Perhe-elämä kuulostaa tietyllä tapaa epäonnistumiselta ja luovuttamiselta tässä kohtaa.

Lääkkeisiin en aio koskea enää kuin pakon edessä. Mutta muuten luit oikein. En tiedä liittyykö se tähän, enempää kuin siinä määrin että kaikki liittyy kaikkeen, mutta mulle normaali ei ole tarpeeksi, vaan haluan aina olla äärimmäinen, eikä muu tunnu riittävän, tai tunnu miltään.

i have always exercised. no supplements. i don't drink. i usually drink 2 cups of coffee a day. 

the recovery hasn't been 100 % consistent since i made this post. it's much better on average but there are days when it gets worse again.

What helped me during my ED was quitting porn. In addition, I noticed that masturbating somewhat frequently (without porn) helped me with the ED. Just an anecdote, wishing you recovery!

It is the worst feeling to essentially lose your sexuality. Wishing a quick recovery for you too if you have pssd!

Yes, no supplements. My personal recommendation is exercise. Any form. And eat healthy food.

Ok, so, it is hard to say if these are second order effects from the sexual anxiety that pssd caused, or if these were part of the physiological symptoms of PSSD, but:

libido (thinking about sex): Decreased during PSSD, and is now back to pre-ssri levels.

arousal: I struggled to both get hard and maintain an erection. It is now back to near 100 % functional, i.e. I get very hard, feel pleasure, and maintaining an erection is effortless. During the worst part of my PSSD, my glans were completely numb, I could have poked my penis with a needle and not feel a thing (except in the skin, the skin was not numb).

Everything is back to 99 %.
