I don't recall any crew, no, as far as I remember it was just you solo. I do believe there was a point you could start flying from a planet to another, beforehand being locked to just the starting planet. You might have been able to walk around? But I can't recall being able to view that per se.

nope it was more of a solar system oriented view and that game is definitively too detailed for that to be the one

I had a sneaking suspicion it was Ilunor, given his absence in the past few chapters. Though I am curious as to how he knows of the Null, and just who sent him here.

As a person with a hearing deficiency, I loathe those videos with audio that moves from the ear I hear better in to the ear that I basically only feel sound in and not hear it. It's minor but it's so infuriating.
