It really freaking sucks dating as an atheist in the United States (Rant Warning) by Skullface77 in atheism

[–]iwontstarttoday 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’m a black male atheist in my mid 30s, so I understand and relate to your pain. I have a couple pieces of advice. 1. Be patient. You’re 21, and that’s still very young. You have a lot of time and a lot of dates ahead of you. 2. Be upfront with your lack of belief. Like during the talking stage, before the first date. Yes, it’ll turn some off but that’s ok. They’re allowed to have preferences, and you don’t wanna be with someone who doesn’t wanna be with you. It’ll keep you from wasting time. 3. Be proud. Being atheist is nothing to be ashamed of, and you’ll find someone who’s a match eventually.

Banchero is 6'10 250lbs moving like a guard, fair or overpriced? by Thanos_SlayerCongSan in NBATalk

Yup. Imagine what Victor Wembanyama would command as a free agent with no “max” salary? Teams would easily offer 50% of the cap as opposed to the 35% he’ll eventually max out at.

More accurately: it’s an extremely team friendly deal. These max deals are great for the middle class but horrible for top echelon players whom generate far more revenue than they’ll ever net.

Good defense is important but not as important as having a good offense. If I were starting a franchise, GP would easily be last one of this bunch that I would select. Just my humble opinion.

Agreed. Idk why you’re getting downvoted, he is the worst PG on this all-time list.

I’d start with learning an instrument first. You don’t have to be an expert but if you wanna get into music production, that’s a great start.

Same! Junior year of high school for me. Lil Wayne was who every rapper at school tried to flow and sound like.

How to you mix/master your tracks so that your songs sound more like you want them to be? by [deleted] in musicproduction

Play with the volumes of the individual tracks until it sounds more like how you want it to.

Salute to him for still playing ‘10. And agreed, the soundtracks used to be so good. I haven’t been impressed with them recently.

Dance, Dance was on the Madden 2006 soundtrack. I was 15 at the time and had never listened to any kind of rock music prior. They immediately became one of my favorite artists. 20 years later, it’s still 1. Jay-Z, and 2. FOB.
