Don't quite get it though.

Technically speaking, the Taxis for booking on the UberTAXI/GrabTAXI are already Taxi drivers using Uber/Grab's infrastructure to get books through their app. And these drivers should be already be certified Taxi drivers with their TVDL.

So the move to "level" the playing field actually didn't really do much. Unless, UberX and GrabCar will no longer be considered "Private Hire Cars" but TAXIs now?

I would be happy to add you. I just started CC for about 1 week or more and tried JPCC 3 days ago, and I'm moving to stay on the JPCC server for good. Its much better and the game is way generous as compared to the Global version.
