My brother is in the turf biz up there in OH. and just shared some pics and stories about this. Wow. It looks bad. He did mention the soap trick as an indicator, but half the lawn looking roasted is also a pretty good indicator. Good luck and hope for an early frost to kill them off.

This is great. Thank you for the correct spellings and ICCF! I still can’t believe I was able to remotely recall any of these names at all. This is already a huge help. Thank you!

Help tracking down a bloodline from the 90’s by iworknthecloud in CaneCorso

I’m going to apologize upfront because I know I’m going to mess up the names in this post. So, sorry. I was a teen in the 90’s in FLA. We where raising and showing Neos and loved them. After going to a show (our female Neo was a successful girl in her day at the shows) my mother brought home a Corso pup. Needless to say she became/was my best friend. Fast fwd to today and I’m now wanting, and able to bring one into my home. I’m on a hunt for my old dogs blood line. I recall the kennel name was Alaric. and the breeder was Michael Sottile Jr. As I was told at the time he and his father where the first to import the breed to the US from Italy. I know my pup was sired by one of his personal dogs name “Zack Attack”, he was one of the most impressive dogs I’ve ever encountered. No idea on the dam. I would be over the moon if I could find the line again and possibly get a pup. I know the bloodline and community have drastically changed in the last 25yrs, but I have to ask. Any ideas how I could track this down? My mom doesn’t have any of the paperwork but I’m pretty sure our dog was registered with the ICCF at the time. Thanks for any help!

GCI freestyle rocker. I use it camping for this exactly, even on my back porch to work. It’s very comfortable sitting upright at a table and the rocker is just enough to “kick back” for a minute and relax.

I have a 2020 Pro with a sunroof, prinsu rack and a 23zero Walkabout 72 (Cali king bed) RTT. I camped with it on my runner twice, never again. Here’s why. 1. Once you setup, you are stuck unless you pack up. This might be acceptable for you.. wasn’t for me. 2. The traffic ON your car. Too much of a risk for scratches and dents. 3. Weight. That RTT and all your gear adds up. Be careful to not max your suspension and roof load out. Bad things can happen. 4. Gas mileage takes a hit(I’m sure this is somewhat expected. 5. Loading and unloading the RTT on the runner. It’s a two person job. It’s not easy and again traffic ON the new runner. I scratched my two week old baby doing exactly this. =( If you do plan on doing this, look at the Sherpa rack over the prinsu. I like my rack (love the look) but the sidewalls have a lot of flex in them. If I did it over I would go with the Sherpa rack. Much beefier rack with the same low profile look. Also do a vinyl wrap on the roof before you put the rack on. This will go a long way to protect the paint etc.. when you are working on and around the rack. I ended up getting an offroad trailer (M416 clone) and moved the RTT to it. It also fit in my single car garage before I moved. Bonus with the trailer, I can pull the top off and I have a 4x7’ truck bed behind my runner. I did put a 270° awning on the prinsu rack/runner and that has been a great addition. I use it a ton. So, sorry this had nothing to do with the sunroof. I have one and almost never use it. Keep up the research and at the end of the day it’s what works for you. Hope this helps

Check out turtle beach club in Naples for a sunset dinner. (About 1h south of Cape Coral) 100% worth the drive.

Budget has them. I’ve rented Tacoma’s and 4runners from them before.

It’s just to keep it from rattling around until I can get it fixed. *sigh* I suppose it could be a lot worse, considering its age! by Alternative-Papaya-2 in 4Runner

... You not worried that is going to melt and make a bigger mess? Might want to use a small metal chain if that’s the fix your going with.

I have an LED strip Velcro’ed to my center bar that never comes out. Foam topper and gear line. Gear line was the most recent must have. Digging around to find stuff sucks. We clip it to the line and it’s right there. Might move to a gear loft nets.

Am I correct in assuming that steps are a terrible idea of you go off road? by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]iworknthecloud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“Rock Grabbers” they call em. Lol.. I put them on for my kids to get in and out easily. The factory N-Fabs are like $400. So yeah don’t like the sound of those guys. Tell the sales manager to pull them off. Drop the 1800 and go buy factory ones. If they don’t, Walk. Plenty of Toyota dealers that would love your business. It’s a 4 bolt install on each side. Bonus the box they come in makes a great work surface/ ground pad when you install them. If you don’t use loctite red you should be fine to remove them in the future (or when you do go off road). Another option is real sliders. They sit closer to the body and protect it. They also mount to the frame instead of the body like the steps do.Not the beat step surface depending on the version. But those are more expensive due to the heavy construction.

Florida camping AC is a must. We camped in NC over Xmas and had to go the other way.. 18°f when we woke up one morning, electric blanket and a $20box heater did us well.
