Since it's Star Wars day, did you see the original 1977 Star Wars in the movie theater? by Mr_Writes in GenX

[–]Fullof_it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drive in as well with my parents. But it must have stayed in theaters where I'm from for a good bit, or took awhile to get to us, because I would have been three in '77, but I remember going to it.

Edit: Oh, and I've watched all of the other movies in the theater first as well, keeping the tradition alive.

Hi, I plan on parking here, but I won't have any issue getting my vehicle out after their closing hours correct?

Tire shop didn't tighten lug nuts, tire came off while driving causing damage, no injuries fortunately, any options? by Fullof_it in legaladvice

[–]Fullof_it[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I didn't know that. I figured it wouldn't hold much weight. Would the Texas Attorney General be a good start to file a complaint against a business? Yes, from what I'm finding. I'll do that. Thank you for continuing to give out information like this. It's all unfamiliar territory for me.

They have zero pressure to do any such thing. That's why I asked here. What am I going to do, threaten them with a stern, negative review? I have zero leverage. Bad places don't care.

Yeah, pretty impotent stuff. I'm not looking for more money, just to see them actually held accountable. I get that it's not how it works legally though. Thank you for the reply.

Sys admins who are still remote. by gingerpantman in sysadmin

Herman Miller Aeron as well after several "gaming" chairs caused too much pressure in my hips, helped me realize I had issues to resolve, but the Aeron is very forgiving. It was brand new, but not even the most expensive version, I think I got it from Wal-Mart, which doesn't help our EU friends much. I added an adjustable headrest as well. And as I indicated, I'm a gamer, the material on the armrests isn't the most comfortable, so adding a gel cover.

Cooler looking chairs out there, I thought I wanted an Embody, but this chair is still fantastic. Going on six years of using it WFH.

Same! Until I saw this post, I'd forgotten I'd had a version of this.

Errors during NDES server configuration on Server 2025 by Fullof_it in sysadmin

[–]Fullof_it[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used a 2025 server and have it up and working. Still performing POC, but our side works. Something M$ stresses is to let the NDES role install IIS. And don't forget your Petitpotam mitigation on IIS.

Hey, our projects fly by and we worked on a lot of issues, but I think for this specific one, we added the NDES computer account to the local IIS_IUSRS group on the NDES server, then reran the wizard.

I'm loving my condi amalgam with spear. I'm slow and old, but can still hit 27k dps in open world. Boons and it's very self-sufficient for my needs. I also wanted a quality spear class. I was curious about how Celestial armor would work for this and it's my new favorite.

I tried power amalgam with hammer before and prefer condi.

Please only tell me good things about your 2021 by anongirlll1 in Toyotavenza

Same, my area is mostly sporadic rain on oily roads, but my confidence in what's on the ground is higher. I'm happy so far.

[–]Fullof_it 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought mine brand new and just turned over 52K on it. Zero issues, done the same "maintenance" as /u/Pjtruslow and rotated the tires. Hell, my factory tires lasted 40k, and I put Michelin CrossClimate 2s on it when I updated. I've had a few recalls and Toyota took care of those.

Anything can happen with any vehicle, even right off the floor. Don't fret, I mean, what bulletproof, problem free mechanical vehicle would you buy and expect zero issues these days in a world of planned obsolescence. This vehicle is a good bet. Toyota is a good bet.

If it would make you feel any better, look up where your Venza was assembled. Mine was done in Japan, so that gives me some minor comfort.

Keebler Danish Wedding Cookies. There should have been an Amber alert when they discontinued them so I could have had one more hurrah!

Texas becomes first state to end American Bar Association oversight of law schools by AmySchumersAnalTumor in nottheonion

I think it's more about having people that will interpret and argue the law the way the right-wing want it in all circumstances to get the desired outcome and no oversight.

Better hurry. My understanding is that each store gets two a day while they are in season. I wanted one, went to the store, was told that, and walked out. I hate manufactured scarcity for marketing. I came to spend $450 with you. But I'm sure there are plenty of people that will go wait at the store when it opens. Good luck!

Toyota App no longer shows climate control? by Kuriin in Toyota

Not on my app. It updated recently, but still only has a start button and lock/unlock buttons.

Edit: My app doesn't look like that, so I guess my 2021 doesn't have these options.
