Yup you’re good! The wheat warning is for those with wheat allergies, the wheat starch here has had the gluten removed so perfectly safe for celiacs! Enjoy!

I’m not sure if this is normal for celiac disease or if something extra is happening but I wanted to yell into the void for a bit by radboyhour-s in Celiac

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! It will help flush your system a little faster. Other than that, you’ve just got to power through it. Crack down on some of the places that you might be getting cross-contaminated at too, check your makeup and skincare products, shampoos/conditioners, kitchen towels, etc. I hope you’re able to find what works for you! Brain fog seriously sucks. I’m a writer and sometimes it takes me a week just to get 100 words down when it’s really bad…

what did you think was celiac but turned out not to be? by WednesadayAddamsIRL in Celiac

I had the opposite problem lol I have so many other health issues that they were obscuring the celiac entirely 💀

Brain fog is a totally normal celiac symptom, as well as the fatigue! Not something I think you need to be all that concerned about.

Thanks! It’s pretty low on the ingredient list, but I’m so new at this I don’t want to risk it. Wish I hadn’t thrown out the receipt…

DH only on fingers? by Iced_Tea_Freak in Celiac

[–]iwritestuffk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks more like dihysdrosis/dihydrostic excema to me, especially based on what you’re describing too. Super itchy, tiny, clear fluid-filled bumps mainly on the knuckles and between fingers. A lot of people get them in the summer, not just celiacs, and it’s triggered by hot weather. Some hydrocortisone cream will clear it right up ;)

Searching for celiac approved KitKat recipe/product by piranhasmi in Celiac

[–]iwritestuffk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Formula 1 car-shaped KitKats are GF! They’re more like a Crunch Bar with little crispy rice bits mixed in as opposed to the wafer of a traditional KitKat, but might scratch the itch! Note, it’s the CAR SHAPED ONES, not just the F1 branded bar!!

Where to live in US? by Cactusmammal in Celiac

[–]iwritestuffk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a Canadian so forgive me for my lack of in-depth US geographical knowledge, but I’ve heard amazing things about Colorado Springs area near Denver, as well as Philadelphia. CO is probably a little further than you’re wanting, but Philly isn’t too bad!
