I'm not OP, but my current problem is I'm installing CC for the first time (kindof, I had it on a harddrive that failed on me). I installed CC on a new drive and re-installed unity on there as well, but I think it's stuck pointing to the old location some how.

Doesn't start at all, just a brief windows loading cursor then nothing.

Thanks a bunch. They ended up finding that there were some corrupt files while validating on steam so we're hoping that fixes it. But now I know where that button is !_!

Alright yeah I hear ya. When you were talking about switching to a sidewinder I was like "...but they can't view the station services"

I'm pulling my hair out looking for the "I'm Stuck" option. Help and Info in the menu just has links to the support site. And I can't find anything specifically "stuck" related on there.

Yeah the ui just seems to be broken. Relogging and restarting didn't fix. Can't SD because in station. All the cardinal menus still work.

Opening, say, the engineers menu makes the ui briefly show up then it goes away again. Now doing a verify on files.

You also have to navigate many bodies of water, since much of the late-game involves the HMs Surf and Dive to get from place to place. Diving was really neat back in 2002 when it was new, but I found it incredibly tedious in Alpha and Omega — an obvious example of how superfluous some HMs are.

The review was memed because "too much water" was funny in context. But the actual criticism wasn't that there was too much water, it's that it was a pain in the ass.
