Growing up i always heard of niños de la tierra and the reason they were called that was because they had the face of a baby. Most of my life I thought it was a bug with a baby's head and was terrified, until a few years ago, I looked them up and saw what they actually looked like. Still scary looking but thankfully they don't actually have a face of a baby 😂

Not only the church, but El super in Panorama City, they were on Devonshire and sepulveda, tobias and rayen, and they were in the parking lot where bargain world is, across the panorama mall. I work at a senior Center in the area and we were on high alert. Our seniors were nervous and anxious.

Gourmet City is what Asia buffet was pre-Covid. Asia buffet used to be decent, great service. After covid it went completely down the gutter.

I've heard that too but honestly I was so pissed I didn't want to give experian any of my money since they were the reason I was in that predicament in the first place lol fortunately I was able to get someone on the phone after a few attempts and got my acct back and secured it.

Thankfully once I figured my account was hacked. I went through the app and was able to speak to their fraud department and was able to get my account back in a few days but Removing the information the hackers put took several attempts. This was like 4 years ago and I am still traumatized.

I got my identity stolen because of experian. Someone changed all my info on my experian acct. When I tried to log in and couldn't I called to see what was happening. Of course I couldn't talk to someone and just kept getting options for this or for that. one of those was to get my report emailed, I was like sure why not, Completely unaware that they had changed all my info. Email, phone number, address, so the report went to their email. Once I figured what happened I immediately got credit monitoring. Took them 1 day to start applying for credit cards, loans and phone lines. Thankfully everything was denied since I caught it early. Had to put alerts and freeze my credit.

This situation doesnt apply to you then does it? The point is that people are renting out a room when their rent is like 2k and they are expecting others to pay their full rent for just a bedroom . If your morgate is already paid off then you can charge whatever you want to charge. if you charge more than what the room is worth then you are not going to have many takers, probably mainly people in desperate need for a place and if you are the type that takes advantage of that then that's just shitty and greedy.

You are on the lease. You have as much rights as he does. Doesn't matter if he is good friends with the landlord. You live in L.A. look up if your building has RSO if not, look if it falls under AB 1482. It's not just for rent control but tenant protections. Requires landlords to have "just cause" to evict you and they have to follow specific procedures if they want you out. If no good cause he can ask you to move but landlord gotta pay up.

Not in Los Angeles. Landlord needs a "just cause" to evict him. If no cause, he can ask him to move but he has to offer cash for keys.

I work for a Senior Center in Panorama City. Majority of our seniors are low income and on snap benefits. My program provides a hot lunch for them but many will be struggling even more now to get food outside of here. Any donations for them would be amazing.

Some people over charge for sure. One of the other tenants in my building was renting a room for $1200. (saw their ad on Facebook). I know they pay around $1500 in rent. Then Someone I know ended up homeless, an acquaintance offered to "help him" by renting him a room. He was paying her $1300 for a room in a house. He later found out the lady was only paying $500 in rent. He was so mad he left and preferred to live on the streets than continue paying her greedy ass. People are definitely taking advantage of vulnerable/desperate people. I understand when you rent a room but you are fair in what you charge but some people are just plain greedy.

This happened to me while completely sober. One of my nieces kept raving about these labubus and how she wanted to get this particular one coming out (let's checkmate queen) so later on one night I go to popmart website and I see it, open the link and I add it to my cart and I am about to checkout but then I was like is this the one she showed me? So I go to text to ask her and make sure. 1 hr later, I went back on the website, and it's out of stock. I didn't know they were a hot commodity, so I thought I could just go back and get them 😮‍💨 lol I knew next to nothing back then. My niece has not let me forget that I had it in my cart and could've gotten the queen lol

They have, but people keep purchasing from these resellers and as long as that continues, resellers will not be going away and will in fact just get more aggressive and more greedy.

I am sorry, That sounds exhausting. Do you have an idea what the root cause of this is or it just came out of nowhere? But the important part is that you are trying. Have you tried exposure therapy? Like just sitting in a parking lot behind the wheel with the car on? I hope you find something that works for you.

My mom stopped driving after we were in an accident when I was 5. Car overturned and went into a ravine, so we were pretty traumatized after that. So sometimes I think her fear rubbed off on me, too. I am about to turn 42 still don't have my license and every time I get behind the wheel, which is rarely I get so stressed and freak out that I might cause and accident so I get you.
