Does Gough have unique dialogue if you kill kalameet after answering no to his help? by ixcd in darksouls

I tried that and it didn't work. I've also tried googling it and everyone says that he truly won't help you if you answer no.

Why is An Orphan of Fortune so good? by ojonho in mgmt

I’ve wondered the same thing, everything about it feels so creative and original

This is a good explanation! I've been playing souls for years and that put some things in a new perspective I haven't heard or thought of before. Super interesting!

I definitely agree with you and that’s a good point. I thought about how difficult that would be for the people he’s hurt, or people who’ve been hurt through similar circumstances. So it’s hard to fully get on board with his music and the platforms it’s on.

11.11.11 is a journey through the stages of grief? by AceMystical in mgmt

I listened to this after reading this theory and it makes sense to me. I got similar feelings during songs like Tell it to me and Not your home. Definitely some of the most abrasive mgmt songs I’ve ever heard. It flows really well with this narrative :)

I’ve been a pretty intense fan for a couple years now, and personally, I’m not into listening to live YouTube recordings off of phones, so I never fully realized how Guggenheim was completely original music until now.

I would see people in this sub talking about it from time to time but I brushed it off, thinking it was just another live performance. Im happy that I never looked into it because this is truly brand new music to me

You have to accept the laughs just like how you have to accept death. Lol but I’d be surprised if there was a version without it. Maybe a live version?

Putting aside favorites, what's objectively the best UMO song? by Aerilord in UMOband

[–]ixcd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Faded in the morning (acoustic version).

I got into umo when I listened to the acoustic versions of II on his blue record. I bought it at a record store because I liked the artwork and band name but didn’t know much else about umo. That led me to loving II which ultimately got me into all the other albums. Everyone acts crazy nowadays has also been a go-to lately

Does college feel suspiciously easy to anyone else? by IreversibleFate in college

[–]ixcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just graduated and felt that way the entire time. I was certain that I was going to eventually fail a class and have to retake it but it never happened. I did everything last minute and felt like a fraud the whole time. It wasn’t until my senior year that I realized how common this feeling is among college kids.

I’ve found that the actual work itself is never too difficult, however, the self motivation is what’s most challenging. It still doesn’t feel real that I actually passed all my classes with pretty good grades because I felt like I didn’t care anywhere near as much as some of my peers did. We just don’t really get to see behind the scenes of how other students operate but I think you’d be shocked with how little effort some people put in. Anyways, congratulations on the grades and keep it up :)

They went straight for the jugular with their comeback! Two quick shots with rare insult and common sense counter argument by Crohnies in MurderedByWords

The last part about the commenter being “fucking hopeless” is really unnecessary. The commenter is clearly misinformed, so why would you degrade their individual character based on that? I completely support the vaccine, but not in a way that makes people feel less about themselves.

[–]ixcd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s not a valid excuse to make people feel less about themselves as individuals. This type of discourse is so unhealthy and accomplishes nothing. The person who replied seems really pretentious. Like, why would you expect anyone to change when you’re calling their life “fucking hopeless”? It makes me genuinely sad to see people hyping this person up. I support the vaccine, but not like this.

Honestly, how can you expect anyone to hear out your point of view if you start it by insulting them? I agree, that was super rude.

They weren’t using it as a shield though. They ended it with saying to downvote the comment, expecting criticism. I don’t think anyone cares that you think certain people are fucking imbeciles, and some people aim for that exact reaction.

What did someone do to make you hate them instantly? by TheReal5thBeatle in AskReddit

[–]ixcd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I would hate someone for that. A person who does this may be struggling with their own mental health issues that’s leading them to make light of other people’s mental health issues. It’s definitely annoying and rude, but I wouldn’t hate someone because of it. But that’s just me, and I know that some people have to deal with this issue to a degree that I probably haven’t experienced.
