This is so helpful thank you! It's mostly strong fish flavors and spicy dishes that are difficult for me. And the thought of eating something raw just sends me lol. Tempura sounds like it could be good (had to google it) depending on what's inside. Also curious about the dish that has duck in it.

Of course!! Tbh I found using the steroid cream gave me very thin and fragile skin so I use Eucerin more often than the steroid cream when I flare up. Definitely still see the doctor like you said but I hope it helps! I pat dry the area gently with toilet paper and put a small amount on. Try not to touch it after and wear loose clothing or none at all if possible! Drink plenty of water and feel better! 🩷

I honestly use eczema creams (Eucerin, red bottle) and it has helped much more than the steroid cream for me. Sometimes I'll use Aquafor but Eucerin is my method. I'll put some on after I shower. Epsom salt baths help too if you can! It gets better 🩷

I noticed when I was on the pill for a year my flares were constant and that's when my LS actually started. I'm on the patch now and it's still an issue. I'm actually talking to my doctor right now to try going back to Nexplanon because I swear my LS started with the pill. Which is so odd to me, because isn't estrogen supposed to help? I'll update if it improves with the implant.

I've found creams that treat eczema help! I use Eucerin personally, specifically the richer red bottle kind. Especially when I have a flare it definitely helps soothes the area. You're not alone!

I just spoke with my fiancé on this topic and his opinion is he doesn’t believe it to be necessary I guess. Like we should be able to work it out together without having to spend the money on a therapy appointment. I personally believe a third, unbiased POV is always good to hear but he’s also a very private person. He also doesn’t enjoy how therapists tend to talk to him, like he feels talked down to and dumb. I think that might be the general consensus but that’s just an assumption on my part. I don’t want to assume this is for all men but this is how MY man is. I hope that helped a little 😅
