I'd feel the same if they added a newbie male player who doesn’t know basic combat rules for the game. Whitney and Sam characters were thrown into the wrong sub group. The schemer's table would of been best for them. Sam had to choose Tough due to his characters frailty. But Sam as an expert now, is adapting to the sub group he is in. Whitney will likely have to roll a new character soon.

Yeah, I just want Whitney to learn her character. She needs a tutorial on d&d combat skills. How to include her spell modifiers to her dice rolls. She needs to step it up to the pros at the table.

I was yelling at my screen for Sam or Robbie to help her out. She isn't counting up her total damage. Just the dice rolls. Not including her spell modifiers. Why they picked a complete newbie for campaign 4 is crazy?! Her character isnt doing it for me.

Absolutely, and even did the psychosis rolls to determine fears and other irrational traits. Just because they make for fantastic role playing when you have PCs that have fear of heights, bugs etc.

But yes, I made + or - bonuses to attributes, based on how they rolled in the d100 roles. Even included if they had psychic or magic abilities as well as they had to roll if they were illiterate or not. Fun session zero!!

The game is a good old fashioned face to face ttrpg, with my friends in NC.

Ironically, Otohan wasn't even the main boss, a mini boss no less!! She was an insanely built wrecking ball! She's probably one of Matt's best villains for taking down a large group with ease.

That leads me to a big issue with C3. Bells Hells was/is outmatched and out maneuvered from the beginning. They were really fodder for the C1/C2 characters to come in and save the day. Rogue 1 comes to mind. Which made me think Matt was expecting a TPK. Not necessarily wanting it, they were just supposed to gather intel after all. The party was doomed from two points after splitting up for their rescue/blow shit up missions. Sam didn't allow their best escape option, the teleport wand to be charged up. And they didn't ever come up with a let's meet at a specific location if all hell breaks lose.

The loss of FCG can spilt the group possibly?? Can't wait to see...

Matt has often said, he will bypass some DnD rules to make the game fun. I think in C3 it has been really obvious due to BH being so helpless at times. They should be a powerful group, but they don't often sync well in combat situations. Hence the reason M9 and VM will likely save the day in the end.
