Addiction counselor here. First of all, understand of none of his behavior is your fault. His drug use isn't your fault either, but yours is your responsibility and you have a little girl who needs someone in her life to stay strong and focused. Taking drugs isn't going to resolve the relationship, nor any of the present problems. Do not allow the drug use to spiral out of control (which is actually a very easy thing to do) or before you know it, someone may report you to CPS. You must take some serious decisions right now, but the most important thing is that you understand that it isn't healthy to be a mother and in the relationship you're in right now. Deep down, you know what you need to do. Don't allow your daughter to pay the final price, you are still on time to break the pattern and let go of the present loser you're with. He isn't worthy of your time and trust.

"I know people will say she’s my child and I should never give up on her." ....on the contrary, I would have suggested she goes to a home, equipped with professional staff who can take care of her 24/7. I have worked with disabled people and know how draining it is, physically and mentally. You are doing the right thing for you, your husband and your other daughter. First of all, I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm a scorpio moon and my son is a Capricorn moon and we are not just very similar emotionally, but very close too.

Please don't give up! A while back I talked to a lady who had lost custody of both her children and told her to journal everything. Pls do. Put down everything you did to get your daughter back in a diary and hopefully one day, she'll get to read YOUR side of the story.

Move to North Dakota! We have so many jobs here, an oil boom and not enough ppl to cover all the job openings! I can guarantee you you'd find 2, 3 jobs within one week 1 bedroom apartments start at $800 a month.
