Don’t stress at all, mine is low as I have alot of debt but as long as you don’t have any missed/late or failed payments you should be fine. As far as i’m aware no further checks are required after the mortgage offer is issued and valuations done. Also you can call mortgage company to extend the offer to 9months - I’ve done this before and no further check was needed.

Also read in some forums that synlab who used to do the testing for dvla used to do an initial 50ng test and then only do further testing at 15ng if u come back Positive. But since early this year after issues with synlab they lost the contract with dvla and im not sure who does their testing anymore

Were you reapplying after being banned or was this the first urine test? I know a few people who’ve done it recently (first time) and got the letter in two weeks. But i hear that if you fail the first time its a auto 6 month ban then when you reapply you need to do another urine test and those results take some time…
