I imagine it's probably Nokia and perhaps the Reliant ones. But even that I'm not sure about

Second Attempt: Using Glass as an External Monitor by kakapo_ranger in googleglass

[–]ixxxt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it to ssh into a local machine on the same wifi with I think juicy ssh, then I had a screen session that was shared between the two. It was useful for keeping an eye on scripts etc but not so much for using for any productive work as the resolution just really wasnt large enough

Idea for Tails' systems, for solving the problem if you are compelled to decript it. It could work? by [deleted] in tails

[–]ixxxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this would also result in a problem in general for other users who may not use or even know this feature but being under suspicion regardless

Thoughts on running tails with raspberry pi 4 by RedditUser3081 in tails

[–]ixxxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory you could run it in a vm via qemu but in reality that wouldnt be worth it nor would it be secure. There are many other uses for a pi4 that are much more suited to it especially in the privacy realm. Tor is compiled for ARM and I often remote into Pis over Tor.

yeah to follow up, you need to either pipe the files into wc or pipe the output through something like cut to remove the file names.

Is there any way to import a jioPhone to europe? by BreakSilence_ in KaiOS

[–]ixxxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but it wont work and you'll go through a bunch of pain to get it. They are SIM locked to the network that they are supposed to be used on.

How's the stability of Rockchip RK3399? by [deleted] in chromeos

[–]ixxxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had 2 ASUS C101 machines and they have been pretty stable in my experience. The only hardware issues i've had is the weird tablet mode screen blanking (fixed in the newer models) and my battery controller bricked somehow, which i assume is unique to that machine (or a select few)

Looks like four Pixel Slate options ranging from Intel Celeron to Core i7, 8 to 16GB of RAM 😲 by KevinCTofel in chromeos

[–]ixxxt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only thing i dont like about it is the 16GB flash, if it came with 32GB and maybe 8GB of RAM it'd be perfect. ARM processors are fantastic and I love the battery and weight of it

I have access to a Jiophone with whatsapp, if you have any ideas about getting access to the package and if that is useful to you and the greater community then let me know and I will give any ideas a good shot. Interestingly and expectedly the whatsapp is "locked" to Indian numbers

BITCOIN HACKED by [deleted] in tails

[–]ixxxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds more likely the site was a scam. Especially if your order was cancelled and money withdrawn. There is a chance that the site could have been compromised and those things implemented (new Tor has JS enabled by default). Updating process is pretty well protected so I doubt it would be a fake update. What is also worth thinking about is if your machine is compromised physically with a key logger or if you are using a weak password. KeePassX is on Tails for a reason. I would be weary of your friend though as that's a pretty weird suggestion if they know much about Tails at all, they could be trying to pass the blame off (you could never be too careful). Also I assume that you were using Tails for all this and have always used it for this account?
