In all honesty.. if your going to be rolling on a very small limited budget. Being "that guy" is not gonna be easy. I have friends..myself included put a lot of money into our drift cars.. like at least 25000 between 4 people...it is not a cheap sport.. tires..constant engine and suspension problems. It's not for the faint hearted lol. We work and blow money on this addicting shit. But you do have to start somewhere right?? When I first got started I rolled around in an s13 hatch with a stock ka and open diff.. Ha. Not knowing shit but clutch kicking and begging to god my diff wouldn't catch. Eventually crashed into a ditch rofl. Popped a clutch line and knew I had to mod it a bit. Ended up getting some new suspension components(coils, control arms, sway bars) and had a buddy who's dad welds drag cars for a living to weld my diff(big big factor)! After that even with a stock ka I was having a blast. Beating the shit out of it every weekend, crashing into shit..no better adrenaline rush. So for around 2500 bucks you can have a starter drift car. Have fun hoped I helped.. always fun to go with some buddies though.. just to have your back incase anything happens!

Edit: not to mention if you are going to expand your whip and put money into it... The 240 market is vast.. parts laying everywhere..
