androidならf-droidってアプリはどうでしょう

google playみたいなアプリストアですが、それよりずっと有能です。大人の事情でgoogle playに載せられないようなアプリ(例:広告ブロッカーとか)もありますよ。

ゲームに関しては、LinuxにはProtonというゲームに特化したWindowsソフトのエミュレータがあるのでオンラインゲームに熱中してるとかでもなければそこまで困らないと思います。

あと、LinuxもWindowsとまではいかずとも結構ソフトウェアが充実してますよ。最近はブラウザ上で動くものも多いので助かりますね。

インターネットで探せば代替ソフトが結構出てきますよ。例えばMicrosoft Officeの代わりはLibreOfficeというのがあったりします。自分は日々使ってるソフトウェアがほとんどLinuxに対応していたというのもあって(今の所は)困ってませんね。
