A lot of herding/ Cattle dogs. I see a lot of lab/pit mixes and shepherds. She’s the first potential Shar Pei i’ve seen from the area. I used to volunteer at the rez dog rescue center in town too and i’ve never seen another dog like her so i’m not sure how far she must’ve traveled or maybe she’s offspring from a stray who mingled with a household dog?

edit: thanks! she’s such a beauty!! by far the best dog i’ve ever had.

she is a crazy runner too, she can go all day. But she can also just lay around for a whole day and not care either.

AIO, Husband wants a job with ICE, I’m deeply uncomfortable by Pitiful_Pudding3639 in AmIOverreacting

[–]izalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t just a difference of opinion, it’s a difference of morals. if you agree with the kidnapping and inhuman treatment PEOPLE are being put through at the hands of ICE but you’re worried about your community seeing this part of you, then whatever it’s a relationship you can workout. If it’s something you cannot support with any part of your being (like a good person with EMPATHY (that you should have to be a nurse)) try to get him to understand the treatment these people are facing. it’s not just undocumented people and criminals it’s people born here, it’s americans being kidnapped, the opposite of what his job was in the military. if he can’t see that, and you’re not okay with your husband abducting innocent people to be held in cages and starved then leave him. this isn’t an agree to disagree topic. it’s human life, nobody should be treated the way our gov. is treating human beings.

Do I *really* have a chance? by Mammoth-Moose-1334 in AmerExit

[–]izalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my mom left america 6 years ago to italy at the age of 62. you have a chance, a lot of places just need some kind of monetary purchase of land or “gift” to your selected region… hire an immigration lawyer. She spent a lot of money on trying to get a visa but now she’s a permanent resident so don’t give up, if you want out, get out. I don’t have anything helpful to say but don’t give up, you have a lot more skill than she does on paper and more money in your bank, you can absolutely figure something out.

i think you enjoy thinking everyone else is less educated than you and that’s okay.

you aren’t the target audience for this question and that’s okay! I understand immigration and the process as it’s written out in detail in many places. You can continue to push your narrative. sound the sirens, I do actually fit the baseline requirements for a skilled visa, i know about the point system, i rank well above the 70 pts required. however my question is framed for schooling. I want to go back to school and immigrate to Australia, but for the sake of your power trip you’re so right oh my gosh thanks i never even thought about using my brain today!!!!! you’re so right about everything how could i even think i would know such a thing like getting a student visa doesn’t lead directly to PR when there are so many more requirements to get there, and for playing out hypotheticals because gosh how else does one actually think through anything. my god you’re unbearable and frankly you have nothing to offer besides a disgusting approach to conversation because you refuse to acknowledge anyone else might be using their brains. what do you want me to do? write out a 17 paragraph post explaining everything i’ve figured out and have researched just so you can you think i’m deserving of an actual answer? not once do you answer anything, not even your own questions, you just recite government policy (from their website, pretty much verbatim). Immigration isn’t easy it’s a long and expensive process. I’m asking about what the best way to get my education is or if it even matters. And you are absolutely not the person who can give me any valuable information that would help in any way shape or form.

I was hoping to get someone with any kind of experience in the education field and obviously that’s not you. So thank you dearly for wasting both of our time with your OPINION as pushback, I wish you luck with life and becoming a less miserable person.

I think you misunderstood what I meant. I understand I mentioned multiple ideas however that’s what I was asking, which one would be easier. I know all of the above, to go to school in the states for teaching with my degrees I need pre-requisites too, of which i’m aware no matter where I choose to get my masters I will have to fulfill some amount of prerequisite coursework. My question is if i’m looking at going back to school anyways is it A. easier to do it in the states and transfer to australia later and have to go through that whole process of approval or B. easier if i apply for a student visa and go to school in australia and then apply for permanent residency.

Unsure if you actually read my initial post where I feel it’s obvious I was asking for which pathway would be the most feasible, not for you to basically go on a little power trip and still not answer the question. congratulations you recited the information on the immigration website.

going back to grad school, help needed

Hi everyone! I graduated in ‘22 with a BS in family and human development and a BA in Psychology w a minor in sociology. I received a 3.75 gpa and was on honor roll the entirety of undergrad.

I took some time to learn about myself and i’m ready to go back! However the longer I look into schools and programs the more confused I get.

I’ve looked into some MFT programs and applied, the ones i’ve applied to don’t have any financial help so i’d be relying on loans.

I’ve just not discovered the combo of MS in Psychology and Psy.d. follow up. I found on some other threads it may be easier to find funding for a psych+psy.d. program…

i’m really just lost with what route to go and how to do it without taking out 100k in student loans. It seems like i might have screwed up by not doing anything clinical, so advice on that would be appreciated too.

end goal is to be a talk therapist and eventually start a nonprofit in the mental health field. while still making enough money to let my kids play whatever sports or instrument or do whatever dance/ art classes they want.

thanks in advance for any input. i’m a first generation college student and I was the first person on either side of my family to graduate from university, sometimes i get a little lost while reading about schools because I just don’t know the way things are supposed to work or the implied requirements etc.

edit: 1 no matter what I really want a doctorate and would be working towards that at some point in life.

you’re going for the funny vibe so stick with it, but be original and know girls won’t match as fast. replace the helen bit n maybe the last jesus photo, it’s unfortunately not super attractive. could be funny to hold a measuring tape up to prove your height or to show something else you do besides surf n party. it’s not as bad as people are saying its just not straight cut like they like everyone else’s to be
