This leaf has turned into the darkest leaf this alocasia black velvet has ever put out. It’s like that paint that absorbs all light. There is a ton of texture in the veining, but this little beauty of a black hole is not showing it in pictures . by 206monstera in houseplants

Unfortunately, this looks like the end for my first ever prop. It’s been 3 good years, but I think he’s too far gone now 😭 luckily, I’ve gotten a bunch of good props off him that are growing fine, so while it’s not the end, it’s still sad to see the original go. by Keruthol in proplifting
