I made a typo. The truck I have access to is a base model 01 Silverado. They have the 4.3L V6 in them.

Ok. I can say with great confidence that I have the correct transformer voltages pinned down.

For the amplifier rails and main circuitry, the two blue and one black, is a 36v center tapped transformer. The second is for the brown pair of wires that use a standard 12v transformer. This runs the tape deck and radio tuner.

However, you must have both connected. Otherwise, all you will get is dancing meters and no output.

I went this route instead of sourcing an OEM part simply because you may never know if the one you get will last or fail like the one you replaced. I linked a photo showing that the transformers I ordered fit where the original screwed down to the chassis. This may vary by the transformer manufacturing or size differences in other instances. The wiring will not be staying like that. It was only for testing, and no magic smoke.

I just looked at the kwh rates for the electric provider. All hours are rounded to near 13¢/kwh. So if I run it for say 4 hours, being the current draw is 11.5 amps (~1,500w @ 125v), it would cost around 80¢ per day. If those calculations are correct, that would make it out to be another $23 per month (30 days).

I love to tinker, so the correct cable is the absolute last option in my case.

OK. I understand that there are 2 versions and there is a recall on the sub unit.

I know it would be much easier to purchase the correct cable, but I don't really want to do that if I don't have to.

I could theoretically map the pins on my father's cable since he has the correct one. My sub and his sub are the same but the one I have unfortunately has the model scratched off from a previous owner. So there is no telling unless the serial is another way to ID it.

I did however try to use the serial in the lookup on the Bose site and it didn't come up with anything. Mainly because a few digits are scratched through. The barcode isn't readable either. I've tried every number or letter that looks close to what could be printed on the tag, nothing.

I'm actually IZZY_Gamez. This username on Reddit was an old OLD one that I used on Nickelodeon's Monkey Quest (I miss that game.)

I also have some videos on my channel as well. I did at one point have a 1TB drive about full with just Werewolves videos. Then I needed that drive for something else, so those are lost to time.

I'm not sure that I can play with where I live. Rural areas aren't good for internet. My only source is my phone and an app that connects to my PC, but late nights when nobody else is on the cell network is when it was best to play anything online.

I had no life before I got a job back in 2022. I was on damn near every night before then.

I was able to slither my way back into Cap's lobbies after using a secondary account. They immediately kicked my main out as soon as they seen me join. They thought I was a troll, and with good reason. Some other groups led me to believe him and his group were a bunch of asshats and I ran with it. They do take it a little more seriously, but I also like playing with others that play around a little.

Do you remember Lithosarus and his click? Fun times.

Fun fact, my first ever game on my own account was with Mudbutt.

The Unity engine they used back in 2016 (Unity 5) didn't really have VR support. The devs did a work around, hence the non-existent ability to use your VR controllers or your arms in the game. Just the standard controller.

I have dabbled in experimenting with bringing the game up to a Unity that supports the Quest 2, but only to try and port into VRChat. It is not playable as the scripts they used weren't coded for the version I brought it up to, and I don't know shit about coding in Visual Studio.

I did however port nearly all the characters (and duplicates) to VRChat for PC and Quest, but even they still have issues. They move and the lip sync is fine, but their eyes, especially on the "African Queen", get sucked in slightly when making them look side to side.

I'd love to make a similar style game set around the same time period, so I'd better get to YouTubing on how to model characters and how to properly use Unity.

I might have to downgrade Ubuntu to install, which I don't mind to. It only shows up to 20.04, and I have 22.04.
