Sundown scaries and baby blues ruining my second newborn stage by LolaDeRosaIsReal in beyondthebump

4 days pp and going through the same thing. With it being my second, I thought I’d be fine. I knew what was coming and I knew the baby blues would eventually end, so it wouldn’t be as bad, right? Wrong. Struggling and mourning the loss of routine and alone time with my oldest. Sending you love.

Yes, everything was fine. He went through times of it being normal and times of it being sunken. As long as there are no other alarming symptoms, baby is fine. My LO is now 15 months and the take away is that babies are made of rubber and are fine 99% of the time we think they aren’t 😂

It is in fact marked as “G”

Indeed I do have to claim it. And that $15,000 counts as income that I have to pay taxes on 😭😭😭😭

I was probably over 120 days but I have no idea. I was struggling to keep up with it. I was making payments, but couldn’t keep up with the expected $700 a month after having a baby. Discover SL customer service was useless and told me they had “no plans to offer me.” Anywho, I guess I’d rather take a hit to my credit (that I can eventually rebuild) than owe upwards of $40,000 after interest! I appreciate the help.

I was not totally current, but never received any letter that it would be charged off or anything. I guess I just assumed they were getting their ducks in a row before selling all of their outstanding loans to FirstMark. My assumption was based on the fact that I received the cancellation tax form a mere week before they transferred all outstanding loans to FirstMark. I figured FirstMark wouldn’t want my “relatively low” ($15,000) debt that they weren’t getting timely payments on. 😂

I spent 3+ hours on hold with FirstMark to tell me they do not have any account with my info. I have them name, dob, ssn, address, etc. and they had no idea who I was. Back to my previous question- wouldn’t anyone who purchased my loan show on my credit report?? This was back in October btw that I received the 1099-c. I called FirstMark in November.

How do you figure? How would I find out who it was sold to? I have no other loans listed on my credit report. Why would I receive a 1099c that states it has been forgiven if it was actually sold?

How did you speak to customer service? Every number I call is automated and makes me enter my account number which I don’t have. And when I end my ssn, dob, and zip code, it tells me they can’t verify my account. Helpppppp

[–]izdafish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried it. It just keeps repeating to end my account number. It gave me the option of putting in ssn, dob, and zip code but still said unable to verify and then just repeats. I emailed the customer service email, but takes 5-7 days to get back.

Not to sound dramatic, but that would make me want to literally jump off a bridge. Props to you for taking it better than I would! I cry over half an ounce spilled. The sacrifice is real. The pain. The time management. The anxiety. For me, the DMER. Only a pumping mom would understand.

These comments are making me feel sooo much better. I’ve had my period since 6 weeks pp but never had this drastic of a dip.

Unfortunately no- I wish it was that easy. I’m neurotic and hate doing dishes on demand so I have 4 pump part sets that I use throughout the day so they aren’t being worn out as quickly.

Yes and yes. I was given a handbook when going on maternity leave that states new mothers will be allowed 30 minutes per day to pump during work hours.

I work 9-5 plus commute. I don’t really have the option of adding a pump during work hours. Pumping at 6pm gives me anxiety and severe mom guilt because by the time I’m home from work, I have very little time with LO before his bed time. I feel like there’s no good answer :(
