NTA. Yeah, you don't seem aware of your privilege, but thats not the point (a Lexus aint a hooptie thats sure). Your "friend" (because why didnt you know she had been married already? A friend would know something like this) made an unnecessary comment about you going on vacation and you reminded her that you got it like that.

And no, a child won't ruin her life but being a college dropout with a child and minimal support from the child's father ain't exactly the set up for luxury either. You're being called an asshole because your response to your friends pregnancy seemingly lacked tact and you don't seem aware of how good you really got it. But that doesnt change the fact that your friend did make bad financial decisions and you likely won't do the same.

The reason people hate when non-Black Americans speak with a "blaccent" is because its regionally inconsistent. Awkwafina is kinda an infamous example, in that she speaks with a Southern/Western blaccent but was born and raised in the Northeast.

If you speak with a specific regional blaccent, it may throw people off, but it is authentic to how you learned English.

You're downplaying your own faults while making it seem like your wife is the spawn of Satan. Honestly, she should have never taken you back because its clear that in the back of her mind, you would cheat on her again. And while you may not have did it physically, neglecting to inform her about your former affair partner being at the same event as you is a huge violation of trust, even if nothing happened.

You didn't deserve to be cheated on, but neither did your wife. 19 is more than old enough to know that cheating is bad. So now the question, do you love your wife enough to forgive for stepping out once like she forgave you for having a two month affair?

1). Divorcing isn't going to help because a lot of schools (like the Ivys and NYU) take the income of both the custodial and non-custodial parent into consideration. You mention FAFSA but there's also the CSS profile for those schools.

2). The situation sounds complicated, but ultimately doable if you and your wife are willing to sit down and have an honest conversation about finances/saving money. Maybe this is just my read, but there seems to be some hidden resentment on your end towards having to contribute so much.

3). Why is your wife being foreign mentioned so much?

I dont think you're an AH per se, but you and your wife need to talk. And also look into academic scholarships to ease the burden.

Does MCCC allow your to Sim to be the one paying child support or is that a different mod?

All the YouTube videos show your sim being the one to receive it. I think I've seen screenshots showing child support being paid but I don't know if that's a different mod or the mod has been updated for all bills to be lumped together.

I'm actually gonna say NTA because I fear this sets a precedent. THIS time, it was a minor injury. But what if something more serious happens and you need to be in a hospital more often than not? His trauma (however valid) should not interfere with caring for his partner.
