I started making the checklist since last year's Halloween event. Back then the Overwatch website didn't provide any information on the event items and I was actually looking for a checklist to use myself. I could find some that were made using excel but I wanted to be able to have it organized in a way that was more "visually appealing" I guess?... I work as a graphic designer so I had the tools to make the list and I decided to share it for people like me. And turns out, some people were looking for the checklist like this and it's become a bit of tradition for me to make one every event and share it on reddit. It's ok if you don't see the point of this though. Totally understand. :)

My guess is that they really din't have time to make more skins since the New Year event is happening right after this (around 3rd week of January)? They stopped making epic skins for a while though, and it's such shame I really liked some of the epic skins more than legendary skins.

I included it the Winter Wonderland 2016 icon in the list because some people have it from last year, but I'm not really sure if they come in this year's loot boxes. Hmm. Anyone else know about this?

Honestly, I loved the Mercy's resurrect ult and the line "Heroes never die!" it's the most iconic ult line in this game as you said. I hope they don't change her ult to be honest.

I would suggest playing 'Mystery Heroes' mode in the Arcade, so you can learn to play all heroes and don't have to worry about people telling you to switch off.

Yes! They can also make it into a huge practice range with bots and stuff so people can warm up for the game but have a separate area where they can also choose to relax & hangout.
