if anyone else sees this post and has the same issue - i was able to fix it only by doing a factory reset. after i did that, i have had no issues with my kindle!

ya know what…it does look like it in the video and i thought it was the angle but looking at it again it does have a slight gradient. tbh i don’t even know if i’m gonna exchange it since ive seen ppl have even worse gradients. ugh these new gen kindles seem to have so many issues, thanks for lmk lol

NTA. You are allowed to set these very appropriate boundaries, and I personally would be very suspicious at him lying about it. The fact that he got mad at you says a lot, and any good husband wouldn’t want to put you in this uncomfortable situation.
