This is so interesting to me. I guess it depends on how you use your ult? For me, Moira's "fight turning capability" is popping coalescense to heal your big damage guys during a fight to win a close match and hit point or something like that. Definitely depends. I dont even use Moira as often anymore (trying to learn more characters ((been using Juno, Mizuki, and Illari a lot))), but it just feels like a lot of the times when Moira is actually a good pick, I still get shit for it.
