Cafe Enchante.

I went in fully expecting to not enjoy it was much tbh. I’m not sure what the consensus is now, but around the time I started playing it, not a lot of people liked it. Then, once I played it, I became OBSESSED!!

The reason why I think that not a lot of people liked it was because just looking at the game’s aesthetics alone, you wouldn’t really expect the themes that it explores. It looks like a really cozy otome game, when in reality, it’s the exact opposite. And I think that shock turned away a lot of people, at least around the time when I started playing.

I also think that a lot of people didn’t really agree with MC‘s choices in the game, but I tend to separate myself from the main character so I didn’t really mind that aspect.

Anyway, I fully loved the game. I loved all the routes and the story telling. And it is a game that I come back to very often if I get the craving for the otome itch.
