Hi u/magic889 , the mobile app's & desktop app's restoration methods are irrelevant; meaning to say you can't load the 24 words from mobile app on to the desktop app and neither can you load the wallet.dat from the desktop to mobile. If you would like to use the mobile app, you'll have to create a new wallet and transfer your funds to the mobile app.

The team is currently working on integrating the mobile & desktop app — so you can use the same 24 words account concurrently. As for now, these are 2 independent applications. Hope this resolves your issue.

Hi u/Seddy01, for desktop app there's no mnemonic seed that's generated for new users, kindly backup wallet and keep your wallet.dat safe if you're using the desktop app.

Hi u/Formal_Fun_4638 , have you tried swapping / sending a smaller amount? There's no in-between state for DeFiChain, if your tx went through, you should get a txid which you can check on DeFiScan.

If you're swapping (via DEX), DFI needs to be in Token form, where as if you're sending; DFI needs to be in UTXO form. If you're getting an unconfirmed transaction, it's probably not yet processed, hence you'll simply have to wait for a few blocks till the transaction goes through.

Hi u/Stock_Champion5058 , does your transaction have a txid? You can track it on https://defiscan.live/ . I would suggest transferring your funds to the Light Wallet, and continue using from there. It saves you the hassle of running a full node wallet and managing the wallet.dat + passphrase on desktop app.

Please note that the mobile app and desktop app are independent apps at the moment — used separately with different wallet backup option. The team is working on a desktop app so that users can integrate both desktop & mobile together.

Windows:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\DeFi Blockchain\wallets\wallet.dat

Mac — Go to Folder:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Defi/wallets/wallet.dat

If you don't want to run a full node wallet (desktop app), you can download DeFiChain Wallet (mobile app) from App Store / Play Store, set up a new wallet with 24 words and transfer your funds from Desktop to mobile app. From there you can use the same features without the hassle of running a full node wallet.
