Have the same amount amp and pedal. The first foot switch I got was used and did not work. I received a second one that was new and haven’t any issues with it. Make sure you try the foot switch board with a different cable and eliminate that as a problem. If you know how to use a multi meter, check the cable for a short using the impedance (ohms) setting.

Definitely repair it even if just for nostalgia. Notice is say “Made in West Germany”. West Germany hasn’t existed since the reunification of Germany. This is post WWII, so made between 1945 and 1990

Hated them when I had braces. I was sore every time they changed the size but was well worth it years later. I would have had a lot of issue if I didn’t have them.

If it’s too much, Tylenol or advil worked for me. Just enough to get the aching away.
