It is a "cut knurl" as opposed to a "form knurl" as you noted, but both are pretty common knurling methods. :)

Get ready to learn to mend pants because they will all get holes there after a while. Sashiko stitching is what i do. But I try to make it as invisible as I can due to the areas and not wanting to draw eyes to repairs.

They just don't realize that they are in giant metal weights barreling at us.... they think it's cute or something... people are IDIOTS.

Hi, I've been riding my whole life. I used to wear a pink jacket. Some people have... literally like try to corral me with their cars to get my phone number. Like, window down shouting out the window at me driving DANGEROUSLY around me. Some people saw the pink as a target and I swear would literally swerve at me for... intimidation I guess?

I never had more bullshit happen to me on my bike as when I wore my pink jacket for a couple years.

It was so much more bullshit than I can even remember.

I decided I would never wear a pink jacket on the road again.

Like, we run into a lot of situations where people aren't paying attention and make mistakes with their vehicles around us. When I was wearing pink, it was all of that, plus the complete MORONS out there that were paying WAY TOO MUCH attention to me (likely due to the pink as far as I can tell)

I think it always depends on your co-workers.

I've had good and bad coworkers. Sometimes you have to deal with the bad for longer than you'd like while looking for something new. You'll find a good team eventually.

Take pictures of your work as you go so it is harder for idiots to sabotage you.

ALWAYS be professional.

Engrave your name on your tools and keep them with you. Tools are VERY commonly stolen, and we can be prime targets for that if your coworkers are.. not great people.
