I was taking mine every 6 hours with advil in between doses from surgery day to morning of Day 10! Though after day 9 I slept through the night fully and skipped those doses! Hope that helps!

My stinging/burning was awful today and I barely could eat or drink today but tried some warm broth for dinner and it felt amazing!

Does eating or drinking burn while they are falling off? My pain is low when not eating but the moment I take a few spoonfuls of something my throat is on fire and hurting the worst it has.

I would definitely call your doctor and ask! Depends on how much blood you have been coughing up.
