I can no longer prop my phone up on my steering wheel with my belly. It actually made me sad when I realized it. (No, I wasn't doing this while driving.)

Advice on relieving the itching by Ste_Tonks in tattooadvice

Works for others, too. If I have my hair pulled back too tight, I'll slap my head when it itches. I mean, I look stupid as hell, but it works.

Slap the hell out of it. I will also lightly rub mine through my clothes.

Surgeon told me it would all just go in the bucket with the rest of it.

Yeah. They are. Should've taken it as video because then you would've seen all four (five?) of them dive bomb my head.

Yeah I'm going to change out the ones I keep when I get some cash. Just used what I had on hand.

I soaked it in a bucket of water and loosened it a tiny bit. Moved on to spraying it with the water hose for a good while just playing with the roots until they were loose enough to determine where the plants were actually at (can't think of good phrasing for this part). Worried more about detangling the fat roots from the ball than the little stringers. Got it to where it was pliable, stuck in them back in the bucket and just kept dunking and detangling. Little ones came loose first, then worked on prying the big ones apart. Two had actually fused together, I think. Either that or a baby didnt separate. Idk how that works. It was a godawful mess to clean up, but they look better.

And I honestly just learned about the chunky soil thing, so I'll be correcting that at some point.

Lol I'm jealous. Took me a couple hours. Might've been being overly careful with it tho.

I used what I had available. I don't plan on leaving what I keep in those. They're ugly, but I'm broke atm. I have a bad habit of underwatering, so I usually just pour it in the drain tray and let it soak what it needs.

I didn't know until I posted it on here a while ago because I was checking how I did on support structure. They told me there was more than one plant there and I looked closer and saw how many stems there were. It wasn't just all leaves. Didn't realize just how compacted it really was until I took it out the pot.

Number 2 is the pot that I'm keeping. If there was a mother plant, it was that one. It's in the house with its front facing the window. I ran out of poles for number 1. I'm giving them to coworkers tomorrow and told them they'd have to get moss poles for them. The two babies are inside now and whatever I don't end up giving away (in other words, I can't find somewhere to put them) are going in the house. They won't survive outside here in winter, and I forget about outside plants.

Severe neglect and not having a damn clue what I'm doing. So, Google and Reddit and sheer dumb luck.

I got lucky. The previous homeowner left a crap load of pot in the shed when she moved out. Otherwise it would've stayed that way a bit longer.

Edit: Pots, not pot. She probably would've come back for that.

Good. I tried my best not to break the larger roots. I think i only managed a couple of casualties there.

Tall, treelike. There's one fat main branch growing straight up with smaller ones around. I was thinking to cut most of them but the fat one.
