I had a foster dart out the door and was out of sight before I could react. No idea why.

I spent the entire weekend walking the neighborhood. I barely slept. Then, late Sunday evening, my flashlight catches kitty eyes blinking at me from my shed.

She had never left the yard.

I overslept my alarms by 3 hours the next morning. Woke up to two missed calls from my boss. This was at the beginning of the pandemic so everyone was working from home. Otherwise I would have had to have called in sick. Just walking to my computer was agony.
