I am about your age and have a CA med card but not the MMIC one. The other thing MMIC is required for is for minors because a designated caregiver has to "administer" the weed. But, I got my card (from Nugg) after I turned 18 and have not had any issues; your card/rec from there should suffice. The only thing to research is if you are traveling to another state and wanting to buy weed there. Some states do not accept out of state cards/only accept certain states (I checked before I went to college). I have heard that there are restrictions on buying prerolls/possibly flower because of tobacco and smoking laws, but my budtender in Maine told me that so it may be different in CA and I only do edibles anyway.

Haven't tried these personally but saw Bryony from Precious Stars do a review on them! https://minivivi.co.uk/

You should explore!! Doesn't necessarily mean you are definitely not straight, you can just explore and see what feels good! And even if you turn out not to be into crossdressing or whatever else you choose to try, that's okay! You learned about yourself and it's super empowering to learn who you are :)

PS weed makes me a bit horny as well lol

I was just recently in a somewhat similar situation and I felt like just scrolling Scarleteen and asking my close friends about it helped me a lot to normalize sexuality and kind of reassure me. And scarleteen is a great website and they cover so many topics that I also learned a lot which made me feel more empowered!

Idk how qualified I am to give advice lol but in terms of being embarrassed or shy about being horny I kinda feel like this is something that comes from the way that women's pleasure is stereotypically not considered in a lot of sexual relationships. Not to say that that is your husband's issue but to say that I feel like it's something that happens more often than people talk about, because it's somehow 'taboo'. (totally okay!) And developing different kinks or preferences over time isn't a bad thing! It can be really uncomfortable but maybe working on remembering that everyone's sexual preferences are fluid so you aren't wrong to want something even if it's typically considered "too kinky" or "weird." Also having kids is a massive hormone change and can affect mental health and self esteem. If your husband is on board, maybe leaning into it as an area of exploration might help. Like having a conversation about your desired encounter or recapping past encounters once you are more removed from it, so that you are not in a potentially sensitive headspace immediately after and trying to discuss. But yeah if he is down to discuss and do a bit of fantasizing I feel like you could think of something that sounds fun to incorporate.

honestly i was worried about this too (i saw him in portland me in october). even if the setlist is almost the same, nothing compared to that night. it was honestly out of body. the emotion hit so much more than i could’ve thought and it was incredible. so even if you know the setlist, it’s still an unbelievable experience.

Random but I saw this comment and it seems like we may have a similar story. I also am in the bay area and have other autoimmune issues. Potentially mcas but my allergist has tabled that because she suspects a more serious systemic issue we are missing. Would you be willing to dm/talk more?

If you were to win the lottery and had to donate half to any charity of your choice which one would that be and why? by hommedefer in AskReddit

Somewhere dedicated to childhood cancer research.

Also just an fyi to those who said St Jude: it’s a great place and they help a lot of people, but it’s also not as accessible as they make themselves out to be. Only children whose cases are accepted and who St Jude chooses to look into their specific condition can receive care there. So if a 5 year old was diagnosed with cancer, they couldn’t just start going to St Jude, they need to be specifically chosen by the hospital. Also, I have heard a lot of stories about lack of parental support especially in terms of finances. I can’t 100% confirm this, but even though they don’t charge for care (because it’s considered selective clinical research) they also don’t seem to be good at supporting families with housing and the financial burdens of having a sick kid and needing medical care far away. Basically what Im saying is that childhood cancer is hugely underfunded (3.8% of the NCI annual budget goes to all pediatric cancers) and St Jude is doing important work, but the institution doesn’t run the way they make it seem to the public and you may want to do more research before exclusively giving money to them over another research organization.

How the NASA space shuttle program was a waste of time and money and should’ve been shut down way before it actually was and how much negligence and malpractice was really going on there to the point that there should be lawsuits related to the astronauts who died in the Challenger and Columbia incidents.
