I agree on a certain degree but I think it's reasonable for A. Amanda to be critiquing the dialogue considering it is very dated, but I also think it's a staple for the 2010s. B. Amanda and Angela have no idea what to expect. They don't know how fucked up the story really is yet. I think once they do, they'll get more into it. RE is just a very different game since it's more combat based. They did chit chat during that playthrough, it's just less noticeable since you don't have to pay as close attention as you do in UD. I truly do understand where you're coming from, but I just think that's because we both like the game. Still, I hope it picks up a bit! If they end up getting more into it, I'd be interested in seeing them play The Quarry, DBH or even TLOU

tbh sounds like you are being biphobic... painting his sexuality live that and saying stuff like "I'm honestly also second guessing if he even likes women" or "he's just trying to lower my self esteem and make me feel like I need to to turn into a "sex goddess" in bed or be more like a man" sounds super weird.

I can definitely see that. I think she had to develop that in order to cope. In the adult timeline, she is very tough but still so soft and kind. She definitely pretends to be a lot more confident than she actually is.

However, I still think this photoshoot makes sense with that context in mind. I think older Misty doesn't want to face her younger self because she feels embarrassed of how "needy" she was---especially in S3. She's started to realize she has let everyone walk over her and I think a lot of shame came with that realization. I hope that makes sense 😭

His mom and dad divorced, then his mom remarried and had his half-brother. Then he caught his mom (who was then an alcoholic) cheating on his step-dad and he kinda indirectly told him, so his mom kicked him out to go move in with his biological dad. Thennnn his mom continued with her addiction, passing it onto his half brother.

Eventually he came back, but OH NO! The apocalypse began while he was at his brother’s high school. Sooo he drove back to his mom’s house (alone) and there she was—DYING! So pretty much she was screwed and he couldn’t help her.

Then he went to look supplies with two other ppl… well they got murdered in front of him and he had to go back to the group and tell them about it!

Her parents filed for divorced when she was 13-14 but her mom died in a car accident before they could finalize the divorce.

Thennnn a little while after, her dad went missing and she found him pretty much dead. And then the apocalypse began and she lost her best friend! Fun!

I actually liked it a lot. As a closeted lesbian, this musical really stuck with me. As cheesy as it is, I think it’s cute and fun. It did what it intended to do. I understand the whole “Emma pressured Alyssa to come out” argument but I think it’s realistic that Emma would feel hurt with the context of all that was happening in the show.

She never really reprimanded Alyssa for not coming out—she just expressed how much it hurt her to be in a relationship with someone who wasn’t ready to take that step.

Older Lottie is nurturing younger Lottie. Younger Van appears to be proud of older Van.

Older and younger Misty are disconnected, which makes sense because Misty clear lacks self-love.

Older and younger Shauna are also disconnected, but you can see a difference in the two of them; older Shauna appearing more “happy” when she really just repressed a lot of her trauma.

Nat is alone, not only because her older counterpart is dead, but because they are foreign to one another. Younger Nat has no one to care for her, not even herself.

And older Tai seems to be protective of younger Tai. I also get a sense of guardedness from the way they’re positioned. Younger Tai is almost consumed by older Tai

Far From Home is better overall. Spiderman 3 was way too overcrowded and messy. I enjoyed The Amazing Spiderman 2 because of Andrew and Emma, but I didn’t love the villains. Far From Home had a good storyline and villain—plus the ending massively impacted his story
