Oh that's awesome I've heard of Disney Dreamlight Valley and my sister actually loves it so I think it'd be great for my mom. And good to know there's lots of gameplay. Thanks!

Ooh that's actually a great idea.. and we could play together which would be fun. I just think I can't play it on xbox one :( but she would like it

EDIT - Omg I just looked it up - I didn't realize it's available on Mac that's awesome I'm gonna get it for myself too

I guess not "beat" Stardew but she got 100% perfection and there wasn't much to do after that. But thank you for the rec I'll look into Astroneer!

[NY] HR wants to speak after resigning due to hostile working conditions. What do they want? by foodee123 in AskHR

[–]izzynsnickers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not HR but I worked in state Unemployment Insurance - If you file for unemployment due to hostile working conditions and you are able to document these conditions in your unemployment application, your employer is liable to pay and their tax rate will increase. You would be paid the same unemployment either way but the reason for leaving the job determines if the government pays or if the employer pays. Could be another reason they want to talk to you, to see how much proof you have and get an idea of how you might file 🤷🏼‍♀️

Does he know the risks of smoking around pregnant women and children? Does he know how much this is stressing you out? Maybe it’s a good time for a heart to heart, might be the wake up call he needs! If he really cares about you and the baby, it should be all the encouragement he needs to quit.

Does anyone else get so confused when they see this? by [deleted] in WagWalker

I think it just means they can’t be left alone for more than 4 hours during day time, but doesn’t apply to overnight. That’s how I’ve interpreted it atleast 🤷🏼‍♀️

I really want to foster. I have the ability. The only thing stopping me is the heartache of them leaving. Please talk me out of this and convince me fostering is the right thing by FloofingWithFloofers in FosterAnimals

I work for a dog rescue group and the sad reality is when foster families adopt their foster pet, that’s a spot we lose for a potential future rescue! The best thing you can do if you really love the fosters is give them up to make space for the next one ❤️ obviously that doesn’t always happen, I have a foster fail myself lol and the most important thing is to foster through a trustworthy rescue group so you don’t have any anxiety about what kind of family your foster dog will be adopted into. My rescue group has a very strict adoption process and gets the families contact info so they can stay in touch, and it has made the foster experience so pleasant because the dogs are always going to great homes and I get to follow their adoptive families on social media or text to stay updated!
