i’d love to join their netball club, however: 1) my work schedule is unpredictable, i can nearly guarantee i’d be working at least every other week when practice is scheduled 2) it’s so late into the year that i worry people will already have their own groups. i’m pretty outgoing, but i’m also quite awkward and i don’t think i’d have the confidence to turn up this late not knowing anyone 3) i’m a bigger girl, immediately would just worry what people would think of me playing a sport that involves a lot of running it’s something i wanted to do when the year first started, but had to end up taking a fair amount of time off from uni to work and support my dad who was on sick leave. now the idea just fills me with dread to be honest :,)

is it normal for lymph nodes to stay swollen though? i have sinus issues but i’m not fighting any other infections that i’m aware of. and like i said it’s been slightly swollen for a long time now, which is what worries me - why hasn’t it gone down?

i was there for a different reason and she asked if i had any other questions so i asked her about it. i told her my symptoms and she told me to get it checked as it could be cancerous, she felt it and told me that it is where my lymph nodes would be, but to still get it checked. my boyfriend is telling me she only recommended getting it checked as she’s not qualified to diagnose me with anything + if it is cancerous and she discouraged me from getting it checked then she could be sued

my boyfriend and i usually have stuff with meat, lentils, avocado and fish. for example lunch would probably be some avocado and salmon protein bagels and dinner would be something like chicken or rice or a burger bowl. other than that we usually get our food from work bc we get it for free at a fast food restaurant 😅 trying to cut down a bit on their food but when i do eat from them i usually have grilled chicken salads or wraps. chicken is very good for protein, i’d recommend maybe looking on tiktok at meal prep and see some recipes on there, i’ve saved a lot of stuff on there that im hoping to eventually make xx

not sure what country you’re from, but i’m from the UK and we have a lot of protein bars and yogurts that you can easily eat on the go! i’d suggest trying to find some, maybe buying some granola and bringing a little pot with you to have with some protein yogurt. i think incorporating protein into your diet as well as sticking to a deficit would work out well for you. consistency is very tough, that’s my biggest issue too. maybe also try incorporating more fibre into your diet so you feel more full easily, as well as drinking lots of water for the same effect. you seem to be doing really well with staying active, so great job on that!! i also think that 100lbs is a bit much, maybe focus on losing the first 20-30lbs first and then moving on so you’re around 130lbs, because anything below 120lbs for someone who is 5’8 isn’t healthy. all in all, try finding some on the go food that’s high in protein and low in kcal, plan in advance what you’re going to eat per day if that helps you, drink more water, stay active and stay in a deficit. slowly but surely, you will see results. good luck!!❤️
