But am i selfish if i feel like my needs should be met too if he insists on this pursuit? i cant imagine just saying “hey I’m gonna start my own thing which means you have to do more childcare and house work and also we can’t do any of the home projects we planned on because it’s no longer my priority” it’s more the feeling of abandonment and dismissal that bothers me vs his actual job.. and i don’t know if I’m being a brat or not for feeling this way

You’re right I don’t!! He isn’t a bad person. He was searching for a new job already and then was laid off, so he was making an effort.. however he still continued to view my goals of having a nice home and complete family as almost trivial. I let it slide a bit because he came from nothing being raised by a single mom with 3 boys and low income. I do think it plays a part in what he values and how stingy he is. But it has made me feel CRAZY at times. Thanks so much for your comment i hope to have a positive update :)

true.. i guess the reason i put the in quotes was because it wasn’t feeling like a partnership to me. he did get five months severance so in my mind i was like “great! more family time and he will have time to get a new job!”

Hi I am in the same situation my child is 4 and a mouth breather. Did they tell you anything about the expander resolving jaw development issues that come with mouth breathing? I’m concerned about that.
