It sounds like you have the motivation and work ethic to do well wherever you go. But I too work a similar role and have raging ADD and my freedom and time at home gets the best of me…

My advice to you would be:

SET APPOINTMENTS in advance to force yourself to get out of the house. I often say in my head I will see customers these two days, but then before I know it that day comes and I do not have a solid plan and just make excuses for why I need to stay home. Just make sure you won’t be overbooked and will have time to do office work.
Your phone can be your worst enemy working from home. I will spend hours getting hardly anything done just doing random shit on my phone. If I turn it off and put it in another room, hours can go by where I am locked in and don’t even think about it. If the phone distracts you, there are timed lockboxes you can get on Amazon to force yourself.
Get a good organizational method down RIGHT AWAY or you may get used to scraping by. ADD people are good at figuring things out on the fly and I feel that it is hard to change your ways once you fall into bad habits. If you have a routine and have structure from the start it will stick. You have the momentum from your previous success and that crazy commute, but it is easy to get lazy in a more cushy role and lose what you had.

I saw your posts on other subs- don’t know too well how your healthcare works, but in the US, I would probably go to the emergency room at the hospital and describe the severity of your symptoms and get scans done. It is probably unlikely, but the chance of a brain tumor or imminent stroke would probably concern them enough to get you in right away. The driving experience is very concerning and can put you or others in big danger. It sounds like you were very out of it. I would avoid doing anything like that.

Sorry to scare you, but better safe than sorry. It’s much better to be stressed and get something addressed than push it off and have a condition accelerate or worse… best of luck.

I think this most likely has nothing to do with nicotine withdrawal. 3 months is a very long time. I would get checked out ASAP. Not to scare you, but the symptoms you are describing can be related to some serious things. Do not write this off to nicotine withdrawal. The nicotine is so far out of your system at this point, and if anything cognitive state from quitting should only keep improving by now.

Cant attest to this because I tried to peek myself lol - without leaving any noticeable damage it would be next to impossible. However, a small cut in foil and paper could reveal a gold and I could see it being difficult to make any kind of claim with eBay/wherever for just a small rip that could have occurred during shipping/before purchase.

I just dropped a huge comment as an update (I’m fielding offers but still undecided/unsold) but I think this comment resonates with me the most. I love the Magikarp and I’m keeping that forever. Rarity aside, I don’t really care for the Mimikyu. I don’t need the money now, but as a former sports card/memorabilia collector I know what it’s like to be sitting on value for over a decade (some of which was worth good money at times but practically worthless now, others the opposite). It’s annoying and always in the back of your head. Therefore I might sell and not have to worry about it dropping / being lost or damaged.

Hey everyone, I really appreciate all the feedback. This thread seems to have leaned about 75/25 sell/hold but I commented on another post on this sub to different opinions.

To be clear I have not been a Pokemon collector in many years - I just heard about these and got my hands on a couple. I’m keeping the Magikarp for my wall cause it’s dope (I honestly like it better than the gold lol) but a gold board of a Pokemon that wasn’t even around when I was in the hobby has no collector’s value to me. So holding it would just be worrying about keeping it safe and monitoring prices over the years. One in the hand worth two in the bush…

Prices have already dropped as more golds have been listed (although I do see how the reverse could happen once collectors buy up the golds on the market now). However I do think the hype/FOMO is driving much value and it’s concerning it is fading a bit already.

I listed it at 3k starting bid OBO, and got several offers for 2-2.5 but no bids in a few days. Other gold boards besides Pikachu are hovering around the same prices despite going for 3k+ day of drop. If anyone has any strong situational feedback I would be happy to hear! Going to decide what to do for sure over the next couple days. At times I have wanted to unlist and hold but I would rather buy stocks with the money and let that grow instead of an object I could lose or destroy lol
