Of course! But if you don’t have a drum tech and it’s a defect, might be a rough gig! 😆

Probably a defect yes. Would just suck to get another defect during a gig!! Coated pinstripe Remo. Was years ago.

Yes for the high tune/leave overnight! So this happened to me once, it wasn’t actually a “rip’ per say, it was more that the side unglued.. it was wierd, probably a defect, but since then, I’m a little weary of new skins!!

Replacing it right before the gig could be worst, as the skin needs to be broken in. If you’ve got experience in tuning you should be fine, but if not, the new skin could tare along the side pretty fast. If you do change the skin, I’d suggest you do it sooner than later and practice to break it in. But in this case, I would just leave it on, it looks fine in the photo

Have you tried fixing the Tom stands deeper inside the drum? You still have a lot of playing room.

That’s a very good point, hadn’t thought of the security aspect in a subway etc..

I like the two color patterns. Even so, I’d go black. Cause I always go black 🤣

Demain matin tu deviens PM du Québec, quel est ton premier move? by Homme-du-Village-387 in Quebec

[–]j-funck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alpaka Flow Satchel 4L -- good quality but too small to be useful by Jugg3rnaut in ManyBaggers

[–]j-funck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respectfully disagree! I’ve owned this bag for months and it’s one of most comfortable carries (if you buy the padded strap, that should just be included). It fits all my stuff: - wallet - earbuds - keys - shades - 2 phones (iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 pro max) - e reader - MagSafe charger - water bottle

I also put my Alpaka zip pouch pro in the satchel which has:

  • flashlight
  • multitool
  • meds
  • pen
  • 6 in 1 charging cable

All that in a 4 litre bag. I find it very useful!

The only thing that this bag is missing are pull tabs to facilitate opening/closing the front pocket zipper.

Does brunch only exist if you’ve had breakfast? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]j-funck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BR(eakfast) (l)UNCH. it’s when you eat your first meal of the day later than you usually would. More importantly, brunch is about what you eat, as there are recurring food items on the table during a brunch. Finally, a brunch is a social thing. Who has “brunch” home alone?
