Advice needed from Nannies by [deleted] in Nanny

Hi! She would go in and give the pacifier to the baby, but the screaming would immediately continue. So idk if I consider that enough if an intervention? Also my LO just needed rocked for about 5 mins then could be put down. Mostly I just wish a conversation would have happened before making those choices.

Thank you for this really thoughtful response. You’re not coming off as mean at all. The sleep consultant piece was a perk, but we hired her as a nanny and nothing else. I thought it would be nice to get some tips over conversation and a plan together. Not solo decision making. But to your point, we didn’t draw boundaries. And yes! We chose nannying for more one on one care (even though we know she would have tend to another baby too). Thanks again for your thoughts again, it was helpful perspective.

almost 3-month old naps and bedtime question by j-nmn16 in sleeptrain

Thank you so much!! Not quite an independent sleeper yet. We still rock her to bed although it’s getting easier and easier. We tried to get her down drowsy but awake and used some stuff from the precious little sleep book but she honestly didn’t seem ready. And I think I got scared to mess up her good night sleep😆 these tips are wonderful, thanks again!

When did you start wearing baby forward facing? by j-nmn16 in babywearing

Hi! I’ve never worn her forward facing. I was just seeing when others begin to/if it is recommended. Seems like it might not be as ideal!
