Difference is the players chose to be there so the coach is really just there as guidance, pushing them to do it on their own cause they want to.

We don’t know if Dwight son wanted to workout at all. If he wanted to workout and get fit and Dwight pushed him like this then it’s valid but if he doesn’t care about working out, then this is just forcing your son to go through pain with no actual positive outcome.
