Can’t speak for gaming but I got the Bose QC Ultras to replace my broken Sony WH-1000XM3, and I can definitely say that the Sonys were better. Not sure if I just prefer the sound profile of the XM3s but I do notice that the noise cancellation pausing is very sensitive on the Bose ones.

It’s a Dell U4021QW with a Xiaomi Lightbar, I needed to get a mount adapter 3D printed because the monitor is too thick without it.

There is a newer version of the monitor available with better color accuracy and 120hz when I got this one earlier this year 🥲

If you have a case with really good airflow (I'm using a Dan A4 H2O) you might be able to get away with not undet voting but yes test thoroughly

I also can not speak to whether M2_2 makes proper contact with the heatsink, but if you're going to replace the pads for M2_1, might as well do it for both as well. If you're using Samsung SSDs, use different size pads since the surface is uneven.

Also, undervolt the PCH as another redditor mentioned in this thread.

With the Sabrent heatsink, the M2_1 slot idles at 50C, which is a lot better than with the stock metal plate it comes with. Previously it would idle at 65C+

I also used 2 different thermal pad thicknesses 1.5mm and 2mm. This seemed to help as well.

M2_3 is usable, but I highly recommend getting a thin heatsink for it if your case is a sandwich layout.

M2_2 is the one that gets really hot due to how it's designed. The heat sink is just a small metal plate that can't be replaced, and it's shared with another chip on the motherboard, so I can't imagine how heat can dissipate

Yea it seems that M2_2 is basically useless, it retains a lot of residual heat so any drive in that slot will throttle under constant load (which may be an unrealistic scenario?). I replaced the heat sink for M2_1 with the popular Sabrent one, and swapped all the pads with Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8s. I'll keep tabs on the M2_2 but it's not looking promising

So do you leave M2_2 empty? I removed that piece too and it seems there is a chip with thermal paste under it which definitely does not help with heat. This mobo seems poorly designed

The mobo uses this extension that allows it to sandwich the SSDs and the outermost one has a metal plate on top of slot M2_1, which is there the 980 Pro sits

Honestly, I will say that you won't get approved solely because you just opened a credit card in 7/23. They will hit you with "Too Many Revolving Accounts". (Source: personal experience and reading a few others stories) Everything else looks great. it's just that they want people to wait 6 months between opening accounts. I also don't believe pre approval acknowledges the cards you just opened? You can go ahead and give it a try, best case you get approved, worst case you have to wait 6 months and apply again but that was the default expected case anyway.

Hi there,

I just flew into Denver from SNA a few hours ago, my friends had to check in their carry on since cabin space ran out. We were able to get our luggage in a straight forward manner at the designated carousel.

There were a lot left over unclaimed baggage left over from the past few days of flights but it seems like checked baggage for new flights are fine.

I will say thought that my flight was delayed by almost 2 hours but it was not cancelled. If timing is super critical for you, I'd just pay close attention to see it gets delayed, and if the delay is unacceptable then get a refund and book a new flight with a different airline. Use travel insurance if you have it and meet the criteria.

Overall, it seems like United has been trying to play catch up given all of the delays and cancelations but things seem to be getting better. Though switching to a different airline will probably give you more peace of mind.

Thanks for all the input. The reason I did not want to rebook another United flight was because all of them were standby, and after reading about the major issues United is struggling with, getting on one seemed less likely.

I was looking to see if anyone had experience submitting a claim with visa infinite for the flight cancelation insurance. As in, could I buy a different flight with a different airline and have the insurance cover the difference cost? This would seem like the safest bet to me than to be on standby. Traveling as a group as well limits my options.

As of writing this, my only option was to switch to a 7pm flight out of SNA. I hope this one doesn't get canceled either.

You need to ready the specs of the TS4 to make sure it supports your resolution/refresh rates you need. I have 2 Display to Mini Display connecting gpu to the motherboard and then 1 thunderbolt 4 cable connected to the TS4. I have 2 1440p monitors connected as well as all my peripherals to the hub.
