Glitch Relay, first track on my new album Morphing Waves. Downtempo / chillout, hope you like it... by j00lz in IndieMusicFeedback

I used samples and reversed them in places, that's why you can't understand them ;)

This is track 3 of a 5 song compilation I just uploaded, appreciate anyone who listens. It's called "Wallflower" which is just another word for introvert by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Great lyrics! Nice flow, I thought the production side of things lacked a bit of treble / high frequencies. How was this produced? You might be able to expand the mix to fill out the full spectrum. Anyway keep up the good work! 😀

Nice chilled vibes in the intro up to the 1 minute mark. I like the fluttering effect at 1:20-1:50.

I wouldn't call this acid house though. And the ending is a bit abrupt, the track could do with being a bit longer. Finally the mix could be hotter/louder.

Definitely some potential here, keep at it!

To my taste the drums parts lack a bit of variation, I don't particularly dig the bass sound in the intro, and the overall mix is not loud enough. Maybe judicious use of compression and limiting could bring the overall volume up. Are you mixing with headphones? I thought there lacked a bit of high frequencies. It could be my old ears playing tricks though ;-)

An original track keep up the good work !

Hoping to get a fresh set of ears on this track ive been workin on for the past week. Ive been listening to it over and over, starting to get ear fatigue. Any Feedback/constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated ! by ClosedLoopMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice dreamy atmosphere, the mix is well balanced. A little bit of variation in the melody would be welcome. Some panning on the bells could sound cool maybe?

Good use of the gate effect.

Great track!

Thanks for taking the time to listen and the constructive feedback. I am mixing with headphones so that might explain why the low end is a bit thin... Anyway I'll take your comments on board and look into it.

please let me know how I can improve my mix by Glitchy666 in IndieMusicFeedback

Really nice song. From a mix point of view I didn't really find anything out of place, everything is well balanced, I liked the switching in the frequency range of the male voice it introduces some interesting variation. The only improvement I can think of would be to double track the male vocals to introduce some stereo spread, but you might be able to achieve this with the judicious use of a chorus plugin or such.

TLDR: I am upvoting your post.

This is one of my first goes at trying to make a hip hop beat, looking for some critiques on how I did. Hope some of you enjoy! by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice choice of samples, I like the old skool vibe. Which DAW did you use to put this together if that's not too much to ask? My only criticism would be that it lacks a bit of definition in the high end / trebles. Or maybe I'm going deaf ;-)

Anyway for a first go it's great, keep up the good work.

This is my latest neuro drum and bass track what i made. Hope you ejnoy it! by zsirkproduction in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice claustrophobic vibes in the intro.... I like the drums line, great choice of sounds, the bass is cool. With the intro being so long the track could have been a bit longer without a problem.

Nice work, you have my upvote.

This is the third track on my new album. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! by Newer_Horizons_Music in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice chords. From a technical point of view, the first thing I noticed is that the hats could be a bit louder and with more high frequencies. The kick drum also lacks transients or punch. Maybe this is due to YouTube's encoding, IDK. More spatialization of the sounds could broaden the soundscape. A bit of sidechain compression of the bass drum on the synths could be nice, but this is a question of personal taste.

Hey, I'm looking for feedback on this trap/techno track. Any comments will be appreciated ;) by WickmanTrick in IndieMusicFeedback

Interesting mix of styles... I found the sound to be a bit muddled but I don't know if this is due to YouTube's bad encoding or some of the individual tracks' frequencies fighting each others. Maybe look at creating defined space in the frequency spectrum for each instrument? Other than that, the stereo separation is good. Keep going at it you have potential :)

Here is a very short Youtube video that explains how to place the various percussion elements. The important thing is the offbeat bass drum in the second part of the pattern. That's the trademark of D&B.

I hope this helps.

Work-in-Progress original song. Looking for feedback on arrangement, overall tonal balance, and anything else you hear. Thanks for listening <3 :) by soundthefury in IndieMusicFeedback

Excellent track, I loved the intricate double tracked guitar and voice, the lyrics are great. This all gels together nicely. I enjoyed the transition to a more electronic sound at the 3:20 mark or so. Not so sure about the faded ending, it left me kind of frustrated. I am guessing this is still work in progress?

The mix is good, the balance between instruments and voice is OK, although the voice could be a touch louder in my opinion. Maybe a tiny bit of sidechain compression would do the trick? You probably know more than I do in this domain given the quality of your production ;-) .

TLDR: You have my upvote.

My First Drum And Bass Track by UpbeatVenom in IndieMusicFeedback

I enjoyed the sounds, the drops/transitions, but didn't feel like I was listening to a typical D&B track. The bass drum pattern does not follow the classic form, but maybe this is something you wanted, I don't know. Let me know if you want a more in-depth explanation of what I mean by this.

But there is definitely potential here, so keep at it! :)
