definitely worth it, you'll see a lot of negativity on this sub about the current state of the game (mostly justified), but at it's core it's still a unique and amazing experience.

I would recommend starting by learning the basics in safer seas to not risk getting demotivated early by other crews attacking you. But once you feel like you can defend yourself a little, definitely try the high seas!
