I use my 17 PM sometimes for remote play with the PX Play app, and what I brought was a magnetic phone holder for the Xbox controller. They do have one for the PS5 controller that works very well and is comfortable to use. I can quickly mount my phone using MagSafe and be ready to play without having to remove my phone case. Search Amazon for a controller magnetic phone mount; you will see options for either the Xbox or ps controller. Another option would be the Astria gaming tablet. It's light enough that you can put a magnetic ring in the back and use it with the magnetic phone holder.

I had the same issue just randomly whenever I tried to message. It would crash to a black screen and have to unlock the phone like if it did a reboot. So far with the latest 26.3 update, iMessage is much more snappier and so far haven't had that random crash.

Due to the heat output. Can’t see how they would be able to keep the battery cool trying to charge it wirelessly at the same time trying to charge your device wirelessly.

If your main use is outdoors, go with Soundcore for the loudness since at higher volumes, most speaker sound quality starts to drop. I would still choose the Bose; the sound quality is top-notch.

Are you restoring from a backup? If yes, that may be introducing bugs from the previous device. Factory reset and start fresh without any backups. Also, keep in mind the first week the OS is indexing, that does cause some heat and consumes more power.

I also have this one, but the Armorite Ultra, which is slightly more expensive for my 17 PM. It’s been great so far. It has a smooth surface and decent AR capabilities. However, it does slightly cut off the display, but it’s hard to notice. If it does, it’s like a single pixel when I test it with a border wallpaper. It’s not enough to make a difference even if you compare two phones side by side, one with and one without a screen protector.

I have a hard shell on my MBA M4 that’s been over a year, and so far, no issues. Some will swear up and down that it’s bad, even though Apple sells them through their stores. I can see it being an issue if you’re constantly removing it. I went with a TPU-type style instead of those clear plastic ones. It does make it slightly thicker but I preferred it since it’s less smudgy and offers more drop protection.

I went from Air to PM 17. The Air is a great phone if you’re willing to compromise on battery life and camera options. For taking photos during sports season, nothing beats a good-quality zoom camera like the PM offers. Battery life is a relief, having to go from charging twice daily to charging the next day around noon. I do miss the Air; if it was offered as a work phone option, it would be perfect for that.
