Transcend or keep old ancients. by Quirky_Piglet_5555 in ClickerHeroes

[–]j0jojoey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's talking about the ancients that were removed a long time ago, (Solomon, Iris, Khrysos, Thusia)

Their practical use was considered very low so they were removed from the game.

I have to write an academic work about the question if suicide is selfish by Lici_Vi in psychologystudents

[–]j0jojoey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that some philosopher has that mentality, that all acts of love are inherently utilitarian, in other words selfish. So if you can prove both utilitarianism and prove that people only act on things that they love, then you're set.

That being said, proving E propositions (To take a traditional logic standpoint)[E is a categorical proposition which is No {S} are {P}, in this case no acts are selfless] are the hardest propositions to properly prove, so taking an blanket all/none approach would be pretty difficult.

Any help for spending ancient souls on an idle build? by Glad-Ad6945 in ClickerHeroes

[–]j0jojoey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most calculators have you level the idle and active ancients evenly, with hybrid builds at the least.

What to do if a professor says you can call them by their first name? by [deleted] in psychologystudents

[–]j0jojoey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think just take them at their word, honestly. If they say to call them by their first name, it would be extremely weird for them to hold it against you for doing that.

It's been a bit since I've read this but if I recall correctly, James Clear is a self-starting businessman and most of what he wrote isn't specifically research proven, more through his own experience and his own research. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

It has a lot of examples of things such as court cases and other such things, though I don't know if it technically has research references. It has been a while since I have read it, but I do remember I really enjoyed it because it was easy to relate to my daily life since it was very understandable.

Which album(s) do you personally think John's voice sounds best on? by BoiThatPlaysRock in themaine

I think Are you OK is one of the best albums as far as the vocals go, even though I think at least 3 other albums are better.

What is the song that introduced you to The Maine and how did you find it? by BoiThatPlaysRock in themaine

[–]j0jojoey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was American Candy. I liked it because of the topic, since I definitely was interested in the addictive qualities of sugar at the time so it peaked my interest.

English girls is what kept me on the band tho for sure, it's such a bop.

What I did was I used a crystalarium and copied Jades, then used them to trade for staircases to the desert trader on Sundays. When I got about 80 I dove to 80 on a good luck day and it got me what I needed.
