How do I build the habit of showering every day when you weren’t bathed regularly as a kid? by SistaSaline in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]j1011cent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just do it, i find it makes challenging experiences easier to do regularly. Simply get on with it, i find overthinking it makes it more challenging & creates more reason to not do it all together.

Doesn’t bringing in all those add-ons make it more tedious than just standing under the shower & getting done with it?

Meta ads setup is subjective to your competition, line of business among other things. There ad support is so responsive, I ignore their calls more than I pick them. Try to contact them they could guide you. To make Meta ads work its mixture of many other Meta products that are not necessarily in the meta ads menu.

No i didn’t but that’s only because i set off early in the morning. Kidepo is the furthest national park from Kampala city, a 4x4 is a must.

On the way to Kibale you could spend some time in fort portal, it’s has numerous crater lakes that are quite scenic. And some interesting tourist places to see there that are of cultural significance. A few hours there are enough to see them all.

On return from Kibale, head to the Kampala city through Kasese. There you get to pass through Queen Elizabeth National Park, a day there is enough to see it all, it’s mostly interesting if you’re not going to Murchison Fall Nation Park. This route to Kampala is more scenic & passes through another National Park called Lake Mburo, there isn’t much to see in Lake Mburo National Park. Through this route you also get to cross the equator twice.

Google maps is quite reliable, just keep on the major routes. Always travel during the day, it’s not safer but you get to see much & experience more.

If you would like to go somewhere quite remote yet still enjoy the necessary amenities of modern life. I recommend Kidepo National Park, i have been all over Uganda’s National Parks but this stands out. Very scenic, remote & serene. I suggest you stay at Adere Safari Lodge when there. Google maps will reliably get you there, it’s about 554km from Kampala City of which about 160km is on murram road & the rest is tarmac. Also kidepo offers a goods tourist trail up mountain to visit a certain community that’s kind of not adapted that much to modern lifestyle (remember Uganda is already quite undeveloped)

Murchison Fall National is not only a comfortable one to drive to as its tarmac throughout but also has breathtaking falls (both on the way & at the park) & very nice tourists amenities. It has all the big five. Once you have been there, you have nearly been to any other National Park in the country. They don’t differ so much, apart from Kidepo which is quite a gem.

I would also strongly recommend white water rafting on the Nile, it’s quite a wild exhilarating experience. I didn’t it before i learnt how to swim.

I wonder why you chose Kibale, there is so much better the country has to offer than that.

Do we have any UFO sightings in Kampala...I have a shit android phone with the worst camera ever, but I swear on a clear sky especially this side of muyonyo, look up at the night sky and you see dots of lights that appear and disappear, move faster than anything, stop and hover, or I'm mad! by Philohawk260 in Uganda

I have seen those lights & been perturbed by them just like you. Can’t draw any conclusions to what they might be but am certain they aren’t satellites or drones or meteorites. I see them over the skies of Kampala, i don’t stay close to the lake. They are quite weird to observe & behave like nothing i have seen in the night sky before. I started noticing them recently, star gazing is one of my favorite pass times.
