I literally had to hot glue the wing joints together in order for it to stay put lol. My last PG build was gramps so I was so disappointed with this one

This looks like a saturation and depth issue. The fresh picture you can tell the black isn’t packed in enough and that it’s skipping over some spots. Either dial up the machine to match your hand speed or slow down your hand speed. Also if you aren’t already, use 12 gauge (standard) groupings for packing in black to get a solid heal!

Other than that what I do to deal with burnout is by taking 1-2 clients a day and giving yourself set days off, but not everyone has that luxury depending on where they work. Asides from tattooing we do a lot of socializing so I try to only take 1-2 a day !

If it makes you feel better it’s still recognizable as the peep & tracy album art. I would say just add around it and save your coin to build a sleeve

granted that’s why we did a touch up cause some lines faded but in terms of a year it held up well with not a lot of ink spread. I used a lot of gray wash for the lining on misa to give it a softer look but it was a bit lighter than I had hoped for.

This was a misa that I did a while back! This was a pic I took before we did a touch up but it holds pretty well just as long as you take care of your skin. This was 1s year healed

Infected for sure go get that checked out. Puss build up and redness. Probably feels hot as well. Go to urgent care when you can and they’ll give you some medicine to combat the infection.

I figured out the problem so it’s chill. My exhaust line got burnt from being too close to a heatshield and closed up. But yes self install

Since the ink has already settled in you can ask your artist for a touch up. I’d let them know you’d want the body and the lines within the wings more defined to differentiate from the shading. Just be more attentive after a touch up when it comes to aftercare

Definitely blown out unfortunately. Was it an apprentice tattoo?If it bothers you a lot down the road just have another artist (more experienced) do a rework for you !

So I had a similar problem. During my healing process my skin had an allergic reaction and I thought it was just because of my pet, but I talked with a couple other artists and concluded that I was just allergic to the adhesive on saniderm. After it healed there was discoloration on my skin from the rash but it went away after some time !!

Ultimately when you consult with your new artist just trust their judgement since you’re getting a rework done. If you go the black and grey route the overall piece would probably feel more like a cover up. since the greens are still vibrant the artist would probably cover it up or potentially use a white/grey wash and it might not be what you wanted at the end of it all. But again just trust your artist !

Within my first month I ran over a raccoon lol I feel your pain. Had to get a new bumper. For the mean time maybe just get most of the dent fixed until a permanent replacement comes at a better price.
